Wheat Free/Dairy Free Cake

I know that I have read information about the standard allergen-free cakes on this board before, but I cannot find the information now. My kids are wheat intolerant (not fully gluten-free) and dairy intolerant. I'd like to order a cake as we will be celebrating my and my daughter's birthdays while we are there.

We have dinner reservations at 'Ohana one night, so I'd like to either order the standard allergen-free cake or order a custom cake through the Polynesian Resort, I guess? I called the cake hotline and followed through to the 'Ohana line and spoke with a lady who sounded like she had no idea what I was talking about. She took down my information (request for the wheat free/dairy free 6" cake) and my name/phone number/reservation number. So, we might be ok and end up with something.

But if anyone has specific information regarding ordering the allergen-free cake or information about custom ordering a decorated, fun cake I would love it!!

She took down my information (request for the wheat free/dairy free 6" cake) and my name/phone number/reservation number. So, we might be ok and end up with something.

1) Do not rest until you get a confirmation.
2) Notes left for cooks frequently are lost.
3) You need someone in the kitchen to confirm.

4) I am sure they can handle you.
5) But, I personally haven't heard of a WDW wheat & dairy free cake.
6) Let us know how you make out.

Yes, let us know how it works out. My son is GF/CF as well and we will be celebrating a birthday while we are there, too. I really don't want to make a cake at home and transport it to Disney if I don't have to!

I know that I've read on the forum somewhere that there is a standard allergen-free cake (gluten/dairy/nut/etc) like the standard cake that you order at the restaurant hostess podium. But you have to call ahead for the allergen-free one.

They do have an allergy free cake you can order that was gluten dairy and nut free. It is small (maybe 6 inches) and undecorated though. It comes frozen and they are not allowed to add any decorations or writing because of cross contam. They frequently change suppliers though so I would keep calling until you can talk to someone who knows whats what to be sure it works for you. I ultimately did not order after calling because I have multi allergies and they weren't sure what was in it on the phone only what wasn't in it
