What's your problem?

Dear Remy, no you may not use those farm dollars..our deal WAS if I allow you to have a facebook acct then YOU have to use all of your farmville dollars to send me gifts. Oh and stop sending me petville requests..I only play at being a farmer..I have enough REAL animals to take care of at home without adding fake ones to the list. Thank you, that is all.

(she's in the other room doing this as we speak lol..)

That one gets me too! I'm always cold at work and people keep opening the windows! I don't go around turning up the heat which I want to do! I finally said "Why does your being hot always trump my being cold???!!!"

Ooh! I KNOW this one!

Ahem.

You can add layers if - excuse me - when you get cold. It's unlikely, in the typical work enviroment, they would be allowed to remove any clothing. :rotfl2:

My car has that too. It's really weird. It especially has it when people start tailing me when I'm going 5 MPH over the speed limit.

I always think, "You don't like this speed? You sure as heck aren't going to like my next speed!" or "If you want to tailgate, I'll make it easier for you." And then I slow down.

It's a school zone for a reason you idiot! Kids step into the road thinking you'll just stop when you see them no matter how fast you're going. The funny thing is kids are short so YOU can't see them when you're whipping around me when I'm going the stated speed limit. You're gonna kill somebody!!!

Boy, that does feel good!

Oooh, oooh, oooh, I've got another one! (I really am a laid back easy to get along with person but somehow the gates have been opened on this thread!)

If you and your husband both have facebook pages please don't put long love paragraphs to each other as your status! It's nauseating! There are private inboxes for that! I love my husband too and think he's perfect but I don't need to tell the whole world!

The point of a highway access ramp is to merge into the existing highway traffic at the speed in which they are going. This is best accomplished by SPEEDING UP as you travel to the end of this ramp. Coming to a complete stop with 5 feet of ramp left pretty much negates its purpose and now means that you will be at a blazing speed of 10mph as you cut in front of someone cruising along at 55-60 mph. Or not. Yes, I'm sure someone will be happy to stop and risk getting themselves rear-ended while you creep out. No, that person would, most decidedly, not be me. And if I happen to be the oh-so-lucky traveler behind you on the on-ramp, be glad you can't hear what I'm saying about you as I now have to slow down to a complete stop!

AND/OR

Yo, Mr. (or Ms.) Considerate! Yours is the ONLY vehicle within a quarter mile stretch of highway. Do you not see me on the entrance ramp right next to you? I'm TRYING to build up speed and merge onto the highway and I'm running out of ramp now. Is there some sort of invisible force field preventing you from moving over into the passing lane so that I can move over onto the highway? Are you SERIOUSLY going to make me SLOW DOWN now to merge behind you?

A YIELD sign and a STOP sign are not interchangeable. See - they are different shapes and even different colors! Do not roll through your stop sign when I have the right of way and then flip me the bird as you come to a screeching halt. Nor should you stop at the yield sign when there's nobody else around! Do you not like your back bumper? Do you want me to rearrange it for you?

Dear snowbirds,
Go home!! Or at least get out of the left lane :headache:

Okay I've got one more,
Dear UCF,
Don't close a parking lot for construction and block off a student created lot, without providing a temporary lot and then giving us tickets for parking on the grass :thumbsup2

Dear drivers who do not pay attention,

At an intersection, if there isn't a stop sign for you, DON'T STOP!

Thanks,
An annoyed driver and pedestrian.

Dear Customer,
Yes, I bent over backwards and special ordered you a "I'm a Big Brother" shirt in a size we do not carry because you want your 14 year old to have it. No, I'm not going to be overly concerned that it might not be here before you go into labor because YOU HAVE A FREE COUPON FOR IT AND I'M NOT MAKING ANY MONEY OFF OF YOU.
There. I love this thread.

Hi. That was a stop sign you just went through. Yes, you did stop in the middle of the parking lot so I could not pass, and continued on your way to the parking spot you were eyeing, but that does not count. You are welcome for my attentiveness, it saved us both a lot of headache. Please follow safety rules. Thank you.

Dear Tenant,

You signed a Legal Document... called a LEASE. How dare you think that the world revolves around you and that you can break that lease whenever you like and not pay rent and trash my house. You are going to court.

Neener Neener.

Oh! Yes!!! That triangular sign that says "Yield" combined with the OTHERWISE UNUSED MERGING LANE???? That means DON'T STOP, except in the rare instance there's a car broken down in that lane; instead, proceed from the admittedly short ramp DIRECTLY ONTO THE HIGHWAY while increasing your speed to match the vehicles in the traveling lanes, then TURN ON YOUR LEFT DIRECTIONAL and MERGE SAFELY into the flow of traffic. You* idiot. I didn't realize Cracker Jacks was still putting drivers' licenses in the boxes as their surprise prizes...

Conversely, a STOP sign ISN'T optional.

A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a police officer.
He thinks that he is smarter than the cop because he is a lawyer, and is certain that he has a better education than any cop. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the officer’s expense!!

Officer says,” License and registration, please.”

Lawyer says, “What for?”

Officer replies, “You didn’t come to a complete stop at the Stop sign.”

Lawyer says, “I slowed down, and no one was coming.”

Officer says, “You still didn’t come to a complete stop. License And registration, please.”

Lawyer says, “What’s the difference?”

Garda says, “The difference is, you have to come to complete stop, that’s the law. License and registration, now please!”

Lawyer says, “If you can show me the legal difference between “slow down” and “stop”, I’ll give you my license and registration and you give me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don’t give me the ticket.”

Officer says, “Sounds fair. Exit your vehicle, sir.”

The lawyer gets out.

All of a sudden, the officer takes out his baton and starts hitting the lawyer with it and says, “Now - do you want me to stop, or just slow down?”

*"You" does NOT mean the quoted poster; it means the eight out of ten drivers who use the SAME ramp EVERY day and STILL don't understand the point of the MERGING lane, or that yield does NOT mean stop and that there IS no traffic IN that lane to which to yield!!!

....I can't seem to make that S-L-O-W teller at the drive-thru window to go faster, but thank you so much for that lovely finger telling me your mental age...

Dear oncoming 4-way stop person who has the legal right-of-way and is still trying to direct me to turn left in front of you before you proceed through the intersection:

No, I'm not going to move. Yes, I do have all day. No, I don't take orders from you. I'm well aware of the laws regarding 4-way stops. If you want to feel good about doing some good deed for someone today, why don't you actually do something that takes time and energy and volunteer at a homeless shelter instead of waving madly at me to move my car illegally?

AND

Dear blankety-blank, friggety-fraggin' driver who decides they're going to be a good samaritan during rush hour by letting a car from the Wendy's parking lot pull out into our lane when we've all been backed up for four minutes waiting for the light that has a 10 seconds green followed by a 120 second red:

I really hope when you get home your karma has given you a daughter who's pregnant, a wife who is leaving you, a son who just got arrested for drugs and a car that's about to blow it's engine. There's nothing "good" about being nice to one person and totally ignoring the 15-20 people behind you.

Especially since the Wendy's person only took the exit onto our street because there were two cars waiting to turn right from the other exit and they didn't want to wait.

There. I feel better.

Not sure if you are aware of this but you CAN get your credit card ready or write your check BEFORE the cashier has finished ringing up your groceries.

Dear homeowner/resident on the main or busy street that's been that way since before you moved in (or even has gotten busier since you've lived here): if you BACK into your driveway, it will be a LOT easier for you to enter traffic whenever you need - you hold up less traffic for less time while you enter the roadway AND you can SEE what you're doing; and, honestly, drivers on that road will be more likely to allow you into the flow of traffic. Yes, even if you're going in the opposite direction.

Oh, and while I'm thinking of it - you haven't been able to make a left turn at the bottom of that ramp for OVER TEN YEARS. There's NOTHING that indicates you can get to the mall up ahead that way. We're very sorry (not!) that five years ago or so the state removed the sign specfically telling drivers which exit to use for the mall. We don't know why you're still heading in the wrong direction, then IGNORING ALL the "NO TURN, NO U-TURN, and NO MALL ACCESS signs, and instead making U-turns around the island in the middle of the road, or on small, dead-end side streets, or in HOMEOWNERS' DRIVEWAYS. Please leave your respective addresses so we can return the 'favor' and abuse your neighborhoods and properties in a like manner.

Oh, and when you come to our city's annual festival? You know all those parking spaces adjacent to large brick buildings? Those are apartment buildings. Do you see those signs at the entrances to the parking areas stating "____ Resident Parking Only"? That's what they mean - unless, again, we can have YOUR addresses and park in YOUR driveways. This city PROVIDES ADEQUATE PARKING and transportation for you. Why is it reasonable for us to come home and NOT BE ABLE TO PARK because you're too 'important' to park 3/4 of a mile away and take a shuttle?
