What's your opinion of Dollar Car?

Here's my situation: We're going on a Disney cruise which leaves from Port Canaveral, located near Kennedy Space Center.

Instead of riding on one of Disney's motor coaches, we thought we'd rent a car and "see the sights", which would also allow us to make some pit stops and grab a bite to eat. My fear is that Dollar may or may not be reliable.

Is renting a car from them quick? Aggravating? Has anyone been refused a car?

I already booked an economy car using a code from Mousesavers, but I have this horrible fear that we'll get to the Dollar counter and we'll be told that there's some kind of problem. All the while, the Disney motor coach will be pulling away and we'll be waving BYE BYE.

Also, can anyone confirm that Dollar is located inside MCO?

We have rented from Dollar about 10 times and never had a problem with them at all. If you are worried about your rate. Print out your confirmation nd bring it with you.

I rented from them last time we went....no problem at all....no pressure to buy the extra stuff...and yes, they are inside the airport.....checking the car back in was even easier!

We've used 'em, in the past, and had no problems. You may want to consider joining Dollar's FastLane program. This way you can avoid the lines. Dollar's Fastlane information # is (877)253-9451 Hope this helps!!

We always use Dollar at MCO and have gotten discount codes off DIS. They were always honored. I suggest joining their Fastlane plan if it's still free. You'll get extra fast pick-up service. I usually have the car before my family has the luggage.
