What's your maximum acceptable wait time...

Depends on the attraction and what we've got on the agenda. In general, I consider 30 minutes to be an acceptable wait time, but if it's a ride we've missed for some reason, or we're on our 2nd day in a park and have nothing else going on ... 45-60 could start to look more attractive.

Generally our limit is 20 minutes although for some attractions (Soarin for example) we may push it to 30 minutes.

I have three young kids (not to mention a wife who isn't a huge theme park fan), so 20 minutes is pushing it, and even then, I wouldn't want to do more than one or two such waits per day.

If it's 30 minutes or longer, we'll skip it. If it's a must do and our last opportunity to ride before leaving, we'd ride if the posted wait was anything less than about 60-70 minutes.

We did 90 minutes for Luigi's Flying Tires on Carsland opening weekend, and have waited 75 minutes for TSMM. Both were TOO LONG. Anything more than 30 minutes is too much, honestly, unless it's something that I just MUST ride...and that list is dwindling.

Usually it is 20-30 minutes, depending on the attraction. I can't really remember a time where I waited much longer, except for last year when my DD HAD to meet Rapunzel. We waited 2 1/2 hours. We had a lot of fun though and enjoyed our time together! :)

We used to wait however long was needed. But we also took much shorter trips and had to wait if we wanted to experience an attraction on that visit. Now, we take extended vacations, so I'd say 30-40 minutes tops. Otherwise, we'd try again at a later time.

60 minutes seems to be our max limit for even the best ride. after waiting 90 minutes for captain jacks little show once, we all decided that standing and waiting that long was absolutely miserable. we didn't go on vacation to torture ourselves so we now skip lines that look like a test of endurance.

Usually 20 minutes as the absolute max. Even then, there are many we'll come back to later instead of waiting 20 minutes. We did wait for 30 minutes once - out of 5 with-kid trips so far. So, 30 minutes is a rarity! We go in the off-season though so it's easier to tour.

30 minutes is about my limit. I will go up to about 45 if it's something I might only have the chance to ride once or twice.

Usually I'll wait about 60-90 minutes for roller coasters and 30ish for the smaller attractions.

I already know when my sister and I go in October we're going to be waiting FOREVER for Elsa & Anna.

Wow, thanks for all the awesome replies! This is really helpful in giving me an idea of what to expect/plan for. It's just my husband and I, so I'm hoping to be able to fit a lot in while we are in the parks. And of course, we'll definitely be trying to either rope drop or FP+ anything with a long wait.

45 minutes is the absolute max and we would wait that long only if we had been trying to get in all day or earlier in the week and it never was any better.

I'll wait 20 without blinking, 30-40 with a shrug and "oh well, we really like this one!" And up to 60 as above, if we've walked away from a headliner previously and haven't caught it yet at any shorter of a wait. Also more likely to wait if we're kind of tired and no other attraction nearby presents a better choice.

Personally, 20 minutes but if I'm with someone who really wants to try a particular attraction I'll let them set the max wait. I was there in March with the daughters of a friend. They'd never been and probably won't return as kids so, if they were willing to wait, so was I.
