I refuse to go to the ice cream parlor. Have you been to one lately? There are tons of kids in those places and you will never guess what they are doing? Eating ice cream! The nerve. They end up letting it drip down their faces and they touch things with sticky little fingers. Yuck! I wish parents would keep their kids are home where they belong.

I don't eat ice cream, the HFCS might make me violent.

I love Edy's Slow-Churned Peppermint ice cream and Haagen Dasz Five mint ice cream. No balls or nuts anywhere in the vicinity, thankyouverymuch.

LOL! I'm sure a dash of cinnamon and a quick visit to the chiropractor would clear that right up. I hear it works wonders on brain tumors.

Talk about morphing a thread into something else.. You guys are good! What else can you throw into the mix?

It was but it wasn't going her way so she took her balls and went home. Well, maybe they were the kids on the playgrounds balls. Not sure.

Me, too! I was thinking surely I would remember posting about ice cream and I was wondering which post had ended up in the wrong thread.

The whole editing thing certainly doesn't work as well after you've had that many responses and after you've already been quoted.

And my favorite ice cream is . . . actually, I'm not sure. Something involving chocolate. Rocky Road? Peanut Butter and Chocolate? B&R's World Class Chocolate? Phish Food? I don't think I can choose. Nothing with Malt Balls, though. They are too dangerous. They're a major choking hazard.

I like many flavors of ice cream but my favorites are Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry. I do love Mint Chocolate Chip too. Of course there is always a new flavor to try. I guess I am fickle about my ice cream. I only go to ice cream parlors that aren't near Walmarts because everyone knows the screeching kids only go to Walmart. Now I bet that is where the kids are getting the playground balls from while they are screeching probably from the large amounts of HFCS that their parents insist they ingest straight from the barrel.

Crap, I just remembered that another of my favorite flavors of quasi-ice cream is the Walmart store brand pineapple sherbet.* Of course, that means I actually have to enter a Walmart to buy it; I've found that the best way to survive the screeching and flying balls is to mainline a couple of Ks of HFCS just before you blast through the door, taking care not to mow down the poor greeter. The screeching in your own head will be so loud you'll never even notice anything external.





*This part is serious. I love that stuff. It actually has a flavor remarkably similar to Dole Whip AND it's cheap. Delightful.

Honestly, this is one time I don't blame the OP. People were starting to behave very badly on this thread. I didn't agree with her either, but when people start outright bashing, calling her out on other posts, namecalling, etc. it's time to do something. I think the OP was quite creative in redirecting.

I also thought the original post was a joke too but I'll bite on the new one...... I like Good Heavens by Blue Bell or Cookies and Cream. Its a toss up
