What's your date and rate?

I read in a Universal Book that there was a thread where people put information about how they got good rates at a Universal Studios hotel. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am a AAA member and I have a Universal Orlando annual pass. I realize that both of those programs can get me a better rate, but does anyone know of any other ways to get a good hotel rate? Welcome to the Dis, vickier. The annual pass is usually the best discount. But read the threads that AlexandNessa gave you. There are some advantages to using AAA. The biggest being you can get the Loew's First amenities. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Kelly's book is the best guide book and has great tips.
