Hey, hop on over to the "Would This Statement Offend You" thread. There are a bunch of people over there not amused by somebody putting:

in their siggy.

Statements like: Tacky, dumb, ignorant, etc are being thrown around.

Sounds like people are not quite so "tolerant" when the shoe is on the other foot and something anti-christian is being adverstised.

The irony is classic!

So the other week I went to the BEST restaurant ever. Great food, fantastic service, and boy was it cheap! The perfect restaurant, in my opinion. If fact, I loved it so much I want to tell everyone I know about this great restaurant that I found.

When did I say that you didn't have faith and love in someone who loves you? You don't know me or any of these other people either, but you sure are quick to pray for them to turn to YOUR religion and be like you! I judge you by the posts you make, and I feel you are arrogant in your religion making excuses for your witnessing and honestly it continues to anger me.

It's people like you that make me very ashamed to claim I am Christian because I'm afraid of being looked at like a fanatic. I believe that anyone can believe whatever they want to believe and that is their right. I don't pray for anyone that doesn't ask to be prayed for, and I am quite happy to live my religion privately with God. And yet I'm scared to death of being judged as a bible thumper because of the people out there that are.

I am not judging their belief system. If you do not believe in God or the power of prayer what is the problem? Okay no harm done. I do not decide if they are "worthy". All were found to be worthy or Jesus would not have died for them. What makes people afraid of prayer? Or Jesus? or the Skywriter?
People feel the tugging at their hearts. I am just a messenger. I am delivering a message. You can reject it. We spend so much time talking about Disney, which most of us love and that is why we are on this site. I love my God even more and He is Someone I love to talk about! Anyone who wants to pray for me, please feel free!

What makes you think people are afraid of it? Could it be that people just don't want it?! Or better yet, people don't want the impression that someone thinks they're not good enough with what they believe. Because that's basically the impression that you leave when you claim "I'll pray for you!" when they say they are not Christian.

Are you kidding me? You know, not everyone is called by Christianity and the Christian God. Not everyone wants to be either. So now because they don't believe and don't want to hear it or don't want to be prayed for they're ignoring God calling them? I can't even begin to explain how speechless this line of thought has made me.
