think we may have a repeat of last year (except w/out the excitement of booking a cruise that day). lcmtam86 lives a few houses from me and Im sure will be looking for a safe place to celebrate so she wont need to drive home from Happy's (chinese restaurant). Who else wants to join us?
So are ya ready? What's on the menu? What's the drink of the night? We'll have lots of new DVDs/videos

I might be on a cruise. Looking for last minute deals right now

Same as usual...which I love!

Just me and DH. Lobster tails, baked potato, salad, asparagus with white sauce and wine for dinner with Kenny G playing in ghe background.

Light a fire in the fireplace, make flavored coffee, and sit and sip it while watching a movie.

I'm working both New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day! :(

How do I get one of those countdown timers like Ratsrule and Blondie has?

We're just going to stay home and have a quiet evening with the kids.

I haven't decided yet. We might go to 1st night Providence.

Marilyn's New Years Eve sounds great to me!

I don't know what we're doing yet. We were invited to a couple of parties, but are thinking about going to a hotel with an indoor pool to have dinner there and stay overnight.

We'll see.

Staying home with the Family! :)

Nice name Livda Nirtom (as she looks in her mirror).

We go to a friend's party every year. Last year we brought my son along because I couldn't find a sitter (mom and dad were partying too!). He was a HIT and now she invited us this year but told us we couldn't come unless we brought DS. :)

Going t San Francisco to one of the many many parties... (got free tickets and its open bar for 3 hours :teeth: ) Yahoooo

We are starting the day in Colorado, eating dinner at the Swan and ending the evening at Epcot. Sounds fun, huh?

Our annual tradition is to go to a very fine Danish restaurant with some friends, then back to their house to watch fireworks that one of the hotels here on the island shoots off on NYE. It's always a very pleasant evening.

That does sound like a lot of fun Kelli. Have a great time!

Livda Nirtom, go to the tech support board and there is a thread at the top of the page giving directions to the countdown timers. I just did it yesterday. If I can do it, anyone can. ;)

Last year for NYE we stayed in and had our neighbors over for cocktails & munchies. The kids played with all the new toys and occupied each other, while the adults relaxed. We may do the same thing this year, but havent decided yet.

DH and I really want to stay home this year and are in the process of inviting 7 of our close friends over for eats and drinks and then fireworks at midnight.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

We're going over to friends who we have spent the last few NYE's with.

We don't do anything on New Year's Eve because DH always works and it's usually a busy night. I prefer be safe at home anyways.

And OT, but Livda Nitrom, do you have a lot of headaches or something? ;)

My DH works until midnight so I guess I will party in the New Year by DISing!:)
