what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

The steak that they apparently dropped in a dirty ashtray before serving it to us at the Maya Grill @ CSR. :scared::scared:

The only thing I have ever gotten at WDW that was gross is the Cuban sandwich from ABC Commissary - YUCK!!!! There have been things I didn't particularly care for ('Ohana - everything except the fabulous dessert) but everything else has at least been edible. It's interesting how we all have such different taste - I had a FANTASTIC meal at San Angel Inn in October!!!!

ABC Commissary, Yakatori House, Tangerine Cafe have been the worst in the 15 years of going to WDW

2 share the honors- Yakitory - I love Japanese food and I don't even mind dark meat but that chicken thigh meat has funky parts that should be cut off and not served.

I agree with this statement completely! Yakitory House was the only meal of our entire trip that I hated. The chicken was definitely not edible.

we ate at garden grill once and was grossed out with the
fried fish which tasted like chicken fried steak.
I didn't care for any of the veggie which are supposed to
be fresh from the land but the taste like they were fresh out
of a can.
Also everything on the chef mickey dinner buffet--yuck

agree- my husband calls it garden gross!!

Maya Grill - LONG wait and the food was inedible. I can't remember what we ordered but it was all gross. We ended up there because we neglected to make ADRs in time and it was the only place with an opening. I can see why!

Yakatori House - it was like eating a bowlful of rubber bands.

LOVE Tangierine Cafe.

Regarding dole whips - try the pineapple float with vanilla whip. It's heaven.

I have a couple of items that I did not like at WDW, in no poarticular order:

1) Flan from San Angel Inn, Now I have had Flan before and enjoyed it but this was just gross!!

2) Pizza delivary from All Star Movies, The cheese was way too thick and slimey plus the crust was doughy

3) Steak at Mama Melroses' Asked for well done but not crisp. It came out like charcoal and could not eat a bite plus the waiter was an @ss

4) The deserts at Tutu Italia, they were just disgusting, barly ate three bites.

Everything I've ever had at Pepper Market. "Baked Penne with Parmesan" which was not baked (merely some penne with some tasteless marinara pored over it) and we had to BEG to get the Parmesan. Just for starters. Hated it the first time, only went back because we were sorta stuck at the resort.

Some kind of mess of a salad that I got at the Scifi was the worst. Worst overall place was Yakitori House.

We were so excited to eat at Tutto Italia. We had read rave reviews. My husband ordered the lasagna and it was cold and mushy. It was very busy that night because it was spring break so we were not able to flag down our waitress to send it back. Anyway, the lasagna was not the greatest cold (and mushy).

rose and crown, i got a salad that had a warm bacon dressing, kinda good, kinda gross. i got gluten free pork chops that were just like plain grilled with plain potatoes. very bland and boring, for dessert i got just an ice cream sundae because that was all they had, plus it was the longest wait of our ADRs, like over 35 min and then they put us in a table that was so tight we could barely fit.

Had to be the Dole Whip... gross... way too sweet and I love sweets. But we ate soooo many yummy things to make up for it!:)

The grossest thing DH ever encountered at WDW was the pizza delivery from Port Orleans French Quarter. It was years ago and we ordered pizza to be delivered to our room. We were SO hungry and it was super late.

The gal delivered the pizza and she left. We opened it a few minutes later and low and behold, there was a HUGE hairball on our pizza, mixed in with the cheese! :scared1:

After staring in disbelief for a few seconds, we lost our appetite, called the food court and got our money back!

Other than that isolated incident, we have truly enjoyed all of our meals at WDW!

Planet Hollywood - especially the Cobb Salad. The lettuce was wilted, the meat was all gristle and it didn't even have the right ingredients. Instead of bleu cheese, it had cubes of swiss that were greasy and just didn't taste right. Toss in the rude waiter and you get one awful dining experience!

The side of braised beets at Le Cellier that come with the Mushroom Filet. There were 5 adults in our party & not one of us even remotely liked them - not sure what to say! They were some sort of yellow bitter beet - just awful!

Anything from Toy Story Pizza Planet - I threw my meal away & the kids just picked at theirs. Yuck!

The chicken nuggets at the Royal Palm Club. They were cold and soggy! Gross!!!
