what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

Any of the "personal pan" size pizzas... commonly seen at the Value resort food courts and Pizzafari at DAK. It gives pizza a bad name. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE.

You're absolutely correct, pizza is the one thing Disney does not do well on any level! My kids won't eat it, if we want pizza at Disney we order it form Giordano's!

Can't say I had anything horrible but I definately stayed away from some selections at Boma.

our entire meal at tony's. Not only was our server horrible but the food was.. its making me gag even thinking about it.

Though our service was fine, the food was indeed terrible, I agree with this one. And we had SUCH high hopes, with the prime location these guys have, it's a travesty they aren't any better.

Thank you, thank you for this thread. i have read 3 pages so far and it has been most helpful!! :hippie:

I've read ABC Commissary and Yakitori House a bunch of times on this thread, and I concur that they are bad. (Though I've never had anything at WDW that I thought was truly disgusting.)

I've actually been to ABC a few times because I try to avoid the burgers/chicken fingers/pizza, etc. and it was disappointing every time. Never again.

It's shocking that Yakitori House is bad, since the table service Japanese is so good.

The Asian station in Sunshine Seasons is also kind of blah.

jumping on the pizza bandwagon....pizza planet should be used for drinks and maybe salads only. (along with the distraction of the arcade)

we won't touch anything that passes for pizza onsite. have heard good things about the NYPD pizza that is near property though. and even though it isn't great pizza you just can't beat the price/value ratio of CeCe's in Orlando either. Man, i love having a rental car when it comes time to eat while on vacation at WDW. so may more options to choose from when you can get yourself offsite.

My worse food experience was Sci-Fi, the food was very cold, my burger was just plain out cold inside and the onion rings disappointed me because they were just like what I make at home, frozen out of a bag.

Also this past April, Beaches and Cream was a huge disappointment to me and I think that it was in part due to high expectations from looking at everyone elses burger on the board here We got no pickle, no sesame seed bun and just a plain ole burger, with a hot tomato, fries that were way over cooked and something that simple just made the expensive meal bad.

Salmon at Le Cellier. I dont think they have that particular salmon on the menu anymore, but it was tasteless and wasnt cooked well at all. It was horrible!

Besides some of the weird stuff on the buffets at Boma and Beirgarten, the only food i've had at disney I didn't like was terriaki chicken from Yakitori house. There was no place to sit and my chicken came with some mixed veggies that were either frozen or from a can and not seasoned at all. The chicken itself wasn't the best and my portion was super small.

Worst meal- spaghetti at Tony's town square. On what planet is this remotely considered Italian?

Most Over hyped- Le Cellier. Average at best. I kept hearing that it was the best steak people had every had. I must be pretty lucky to live in a major city because while my meal wasn't bad, it was light years away from the best steak. I thought Shulas is way better at that's right on site.

Had TS at the Yuk & Yeti three weeks ago ......... Never again

Akershus (sp) in Norway :sad2:

The kids pizza at The Coral Reef. My DD4 wouldn't eat it and she has NEVER turned down pizza. My DH tried it after I told my DD that she needed to eat it. His reaction when he tried it.... "don't make her it eat it, it's pretty bad."

The new age/ fusion (or what ever they were attempting) green salad with the poached egg on top at the California Grill. What can I say. I was gullible.

I think I'm the first one to say this by 50's Primetime, for sure. I could not even take more than 3 bites of it. I had Fried Chicken and Collard greens. I'm getting nauseas just thinking about it. For "dessert" I had a shake which was wonderful. =)

The worst for me would be the cream cheese-filled soft pretzel from Scuttle's Landing in Fantasyland. It was way too sweet.

I guess I haven't loved everything I've eaten at WDW, but I sure can't think of anything that was just awful.:confused3

The Golden Horseshoe saloon! I am telling you stay away from this place! I was eating this sandwhich and it was blah! It had no taste and it felt like it was made the day before. I also found the mexico cs nachos gross too!
