what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

I can't think of a bad meal we've had at WDW outside of maybe a counter service here and there. I'm just one of those guys that :lovestrucLOVES:lovestruc everything about Walt Disney World.

Definitely ABC Commissary and Hollywood and Vine dinner buffett...bleh!!

I'm hoping that not all food at DHS is bad since it seems to be an occurring trend...

Hoping for the best at Brown Derby in January!

By far the worst meal (and really only bad meal) of our last trip was Pecos Bills' ....

The food was nothing short of terrible ... well, really, everything just has zero taste to it.

The chicken wraps were a whole lot of boiled chicken nothing (the only taste was from the tomatoes put on them) and the taco salad barely had any spice to it and the salsa tasted only of tomato

We will never eat there again :sad2:

The shrimp lo mein at Yak N Yeti CS. Not edible. Rubbery shrimp, tasteless noodles. Very gross.

I also hated the chinese food at Sunshine Seasons. Horribly salty and just BAD.

Since people are mentioning their worst meal experiences (rather than single worst food item), I will add to the list of people who hated Hollywood and Vine lunch. There wasn't one single item that stands out, but the whole things was very below average to bad food, not enough variety, way overcrowded and way way WAY overpriced.

Worse thing I ever ate at WDW was this paste like crab dip appetizer from Fulton's

a apple cinnamon pretzel from DHS stand outside of beauty....hard as a rock and tastless

Without a doubt the shrimp dish and the San Angel Inn. The shrimp are fried, and I've had better at Captain D's or Long John Silvers! My husband had a beef dish which was inedible, and they even managed to make a cheese quesadilla that my daughter wouldn't eat. How do you mess that up? Thank goodness we filled up on chips and salsa!

I have to say pretty much everything we ate on two trips to San Angel Inn except the Tortilla Soup. Everything else was bad enough that we won't even give it the third strike!

The Skillet at WCC -- blech!

And maybe the worst for me was the beef and broccoli (I think) at Yak & Yeti last year. It had such a strong fish taste, I couldn't eat it at all!

Wow. We have had different experiences than most of you. We like San Angel and the Luau food for the most part. Maybe we are just used to eating "kid food"? Don't know.

And here is where also differed...we HATED Le Cellier.

After reading so many great things on here about it, we were so excited to go. Other than the pretzel bread thingys it was awful. Our steak was fatty and overcooked, and everything else was soggy.

Even the ambiance was dark and dreary. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

Having eaten at many of the of TS restaurants at Epcot and found that they were a good representation of the traditional native foods, and also having a great love of Chinese food, we ate at Nine Dragons for lunch on our last day before leaving WDW.

My husband asked our server to recommend a vegetable appetiser- he suggested a cucumber dish- which ended up being a plate full of nasty sour pickles:mad:.
My egg roll was meat heavy with little vegetable in it, but it was ok.
DH ordered a fish entree and that is exactly what he got- a fish on a plate- nothing else. The fish was ok, but in what universe is one thing on a plate a meal?
I had asked our server if the honey sesame chicken came with vegetables(he said yes) which turned out to be some kind of slaw- yuck!
I live in a rural area and our local chinese bufffet is head, shoulders & universe above anything at Nine Dragons- a tastefully decorated place :confused3to eat armpit food!

i know we've all had some fabulous meals and menu items while at wdw but i recently had one of the worst appetizers i've ever had in my entire life and ugh ugh ugh it was at wdw. this was a cheddar bacon type soup (soup of the day on the menu) at the grand floridian cafe... if you closed your eyes you would think you were eating salty cheez whiz soup. so just curious... what and where was your worst?
The "tie dye cheesecake"..

bleh

Planet Hollywood.

BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger....came cold and without any BBQ Sauce. Fries were cold and hard enough to cause jaw pain while attempting to 'chew' them.

Besides the yucky burger and hot dog rolls in all the cs places......top of our list would be the Tangierine Cafe....now it wasnt because of the food.....it just wasnt anything that we really cared for......other people I am sure loved it...it was the Platter with lamb and chicken and hummus (which I usually love) and sour cream on my lamb....it was just a different dish for us....

The breakfast sausage from the ABC Commisary. It was totally disgusting, and not even edible drowned in ketchup. I ended up throwing my breakfast out and going hungry, that is how bad it was. I still will go hungry before eating there!

Where is the barfing smiley when you need it????

I agree about the margaritas at the Mexico stand. No flavor and no alcohol, either! But I am excited about the new margarita place (Cava de Tequila).

Hmmm....

Our trip in February 2009 -

NOTHING from Crystal Palace was edible.

Boma was disgusting, with the exception of the Zebra Domes. Unfortunately, since we were staying at AKL, we were a bit Zebra Dome-d out!

The flatbread pizza thingy at The Mara.

The cold buffet at Akershus.

Sigh...there was lots of icky food that trip...
