We go to WDW 5 trips a year, but in the spring we stay for 2 weeks. This May it's 15 nights (16 days). In the fall, Oct, we usually stay for 12 nights. The other trips are generally 7 or 8 nights only.
Our longest was 13 days in September - was only supposed to be 12, but Jeanne kept us there another day. We usually go for 10-12 nights - this May we'll be back for only 9 nights.
Two weeks that is ...It really gets cheaper the longer you stay (well, the per day cost keeps going down) so we always go for 14 nights, 15 days. AND We leave again in 13 days and I can't think of anything else!

We are staying 9 nights this year, inlcuding Universal. I am jealous of those who stay 2 weeks! 9 nights sounds like a long time but I from experience it will go by in the blink of an eye. Day after tomorrow we will be on our way!!!
We did a split stay of 5 nights Poly and 5 nights BCVs... so that's 11 days total. It was a little too long for us because our kids were really young at the time. (ages 1 and 3) I think it would be easier to stay longer now that they are older.
This next trip we are taking is 9 nights. Seems perfect to me.
14 days - and it was the best thing we ever did! Time to lounge around in World Showcase and smell the roses - literaly! No rushing - no draging the kids around at an unrealistic pace......it was wonderful.
What it would be like to stay so very very long....
I have taken MANY 3-5 day trips, and last year we went for 7 nights just before christmas, I'm going down for 6 nights for my honeymoon (only because my DW birthday and MIL birthday both fall during the honeymoon and DW wants to be home with family instead of at disney).
Just so anyone reading this who hasn't gone can have a comparison, 3 days is enough time for 2 parks, 7 is enough for all 4 parks and some time in downtown disney, at a reasonable (not too fast but not "smell the roses" either)
When visiting a potential college choice in the orlando area I did actually manage a one night stay, thank the mouse for E-Ride i got to do MK via E Ride, MGM in morning and Epcot in the afternoon. Mind you I only hit what i already knew i wanted to see.
Our longest trip was over our 25th wedding anniversary for 16 wonderful days! DH thinks it was a few days too long, but I could have stayed another 16 days! We split our stay between 3 resorts and did some off site stuff too. Can't afford to do that too often though, so 8-12 days is our usual trip.
Nine days coming up this year.
But the longest we ever stayed was for our Fairy Tale Wedding & Honeymoon. We were there a week before the wedding & 2 weeks for our honeymoon for a total of 21 nights! Yikes! That was pricey, but SO worth it.
