heard rumors of a very early May official opening. I would expect a soft opening my mid April probably the work is a lot of detailing now.

I saw rumors on another site that there may be problems with the carts, and they are trying to fix this issue. It may be a real late Spring opening like May.

really that's the first I've heard of this. There are plenty of videos and photos showing the carts running on the track. The Disney imagineers have even posted their own video. From all ive heard the carts run almost daily sometimes with weights to act as if someone was in the cart.

the work as of late has been very good and rapid trees and grass now cover some part of the mountain and details continue to be poured in I think no later than May.

Rumors that the cart swings to much on arrival back at loading area and is not locking properly is what a post on another site stated. This is what testing is for....I am betting full opening in May, maybe some soft testing late April. You know they want this before Potter opens.

The project was announced in January 2011 and this announcement said it would be ready in 2013.

Ok one article from WDWMagic with no source says 2013. Every single other article or announcement I saw from Disney itself always said Spring 2014. Always. I can't get your "fun" link to open.

Here is the Disney blog announcement. 2013 date.

Screamscape reported that a 2014 date was rumored in March 2011. By April 2011 - 2014 was the accepted time. Then it was spring 2014. Now it might be early summer 2014.

It has been a disappointing wait.
