I just baked a Birthday cake for one of my sons!! What have you baked recently??

Yesterday--White Lily ready to bake biscuits --Today I will bake two more biscuits

Baked as in pastry? Years. Baked as in roasting a chicken? Coupla' weeks.

On Friday I baked Ghiradelli brownies from scratch.

Last week I baked two loaves of homemade bread. Mmmmmmm...made the whole house smell so good!

Baked individual chocolate cakes (12) in little heart shaped ramakins. Colored the frosting in the 4 shades of those little hearts that you get a Valentines day (orange, yellow, purpule, green) and then wrote the words "luv ya" "hug me" etc. on them. Had 2 sets of friends staying with us for the weekend and all the kids loved them. My DH was actual very impressed.

Okay, I can cook and bake from scratch too--last week, I had roasted a turkey breast. Dessert--its been a month or two since I had bake a cake or brownies.

(Along with Potatoes O'Brien and thick sliced bacon). I love weekend breakfast.

For Mardi Gras I baked 4 king cakes. I ate a lot, too. It's a good thing I only do that once a year!

Thursday I baked cranberry orange muffins....
This am for breakfast I made buttermilk pancakes and bacon - not really baked but with the amount of time I spend in the kitchen doing something besides looking at a take-out menu, I'm counting it!!
