I know all you ones that just recently bought houses probably have no complaints!!;)

We've lived in our house for 18 years now and my biggest complaint is the water pressure!!! It just drives me nuts!!! When the washer is going you can barely do anything else because there's little pressure!!!

What's your main complaint on where you live???:p

the house we live in is 34 years old. it needs a new kitchen, a new upstairs bathroom and a major overhaul of the basement.

It's too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter and too small. :p :p

My biggest complaint is that there is no eating area in the kitchen. It's not too bad not to have it but I always grew up with an eat-in kitchen and I kind of miss it. The rest is fixable :)

The hot tub! When I saw how much the electric bill was the first month we moved in, I shut it off! Now with mosquito season, standing water is a concern. I want to fill in that thing and turn it into a basketball court for DS!

My biggest complaint isn't the houses fault, it's ours. There are too many unfinished projects. When we bought the house 8 years ago, we added a dormer upstairs to put in a bathroom. That's as far as we got...the dormer's there, but 8 years later, there's no bathroom, nothing that even remotely resembles a bathroom. In conjunction with that project is a project downstairs to turn 3 kind of funky hall closets into one big pantry closet. But that can't be done until the upstairs is done because the pipes for the upstairs bathroom are set to run in the back of the pantry closet to be done downstairs. The 2 bedrooms up there are not finished. One of them is 7/8 finished...all it needs is 2 windows trimmed and a door hung over an opening that gives us access to storage space under the peak of the roof, but for some reason, these things don't get done. The other one needs a relatively small area sheetrocked, the 2 windows trimmed, and the 2 small doors leading to the storage area put in. It is beginning to get rather frustrating, as I would like to get the house in order once and for all, move our bedroom upstairs, turn our downstairs bedroom into a den. Then all we'd need to do is maintain...there'd be no further renovation needed.

The biggest complaint I have with my tiny house is not that its tiny, but that there is no parking anywhere close to my house. :( I live in a touristy part of D.C., particularly at nightime, and if I go out during the evening I can forget about finding a good parking place upon my return. Of course, the parking is supposed to be zoned, but no one pays attention to the zoning signs. They may get a ticket, but that doesn't help me when I'm trying to park.

One of the main reasons we are considering moving out of the city and into the (gasp!) suburbs. Having a driveway or a garage sure has its merits. :)

We could use at least another 500 sq.feet....and a basement! Why oh why didn't get have the builders add a basement?

We were so crazy not to do that!

Sorry, I don't have any complaints. I know this sounds too sugar sweet, but this is mine and DH's first house. It is 10 years old. When I walk into the house or do stuff around the house, I think to myself "man, I love this house. This is truly home."

(I will try to find something wrong, honest!)

I love my house!!
But.....it is now rather large for us ;)
Also the yard is too big and we don't enjoy working it anymore.

Ive been here for 3 1/2 yrs. We bought it brand new. These are all my complaints...

The mailbox is at the end of the walk, not attached to the house(I have to put on shoes to get the mail).

We have a counter in the kitchen to eat at, no kitchen table.

Not an overabundance of storage space(small attic, due to cathedral ceilings).

I have to drive to get to a store unless I want to walk across a Main St at a big intersection. At my old house I could pop DS in the carriage and walk to either a CVS or a supermarket(one advantage to living on a main street I guess).

This sort of goes along with my last complaint, but there are no sidewalks on the street that my street is off of, again, making walking with a carriage difficult.

So, nothing really major, just a few little things that bug me. All in all, I love my house and neighborhood.

It's too small, not enough storage space, and it needs a major overhaul. Oh, I want a bigger yard too.

I want the kitchen and dining room totally redone.
The rest is mainly cosmetic.

We do have a basement, and I wouldn't get a house without it.

Almost forgot....my BIGGEST complaint is our monthly mortgage payment! Ouch!

Our house is about 70 years old and basically I love it. BUT the bathroom is the size of a phone booth. I'm not lying when I tell you the open floor space is LESS than 3 feet X 4 feet. It's like they built the house and thought...geez...we forgot the bathroom!! And it's the only one!

Also there's no coat closet and very little other storage space.

Given $20,000 or so, I could fix ALL the stuff that bugs me.

We have lived here for almost 30 years. My biggest complaint is the size of the rooms. The people who built our house built the frame workroom and had the outside done before they decided how many rooms they wanted. Thus all of the rooms are too small. They all need at least 2 more feet added in both directions.

too small, only one bathroom, and no where near enough closet space
