What's the biggest Complaint you have of the house/apartment you are living in?

Our kitchen is too small and too dark, but I love my house.

Stairs we have two sets of stairs to climb almost anywere you want to go. I will be hunting a single level home next time around!! I really like my home.

There's no ensuite for the bedrooms, the bedrooms are small, the kitchen is tiny but has enough room for a nook so we eat our meals in there.

BUT I love my window over the kitchen sink that faces Burke Mountain (big) and my flower garden. I love having fresh air while I work in the kitchen. And I love my cathedral entrance that does not look on to any room, so visitors at my door can only guess if my house is messy.

Kitchen is to small. I love to cook and the counter space is at a minimum. The funny part is that my neighbor next door that hates to cook, has the kitchen that I should have in my house. Also, there are no walk in closets.

We rent an older house. My two biggest complaints are:

1. NO closet space! DH uses the closet in our bedroom, I use the closet in the second bedroom for my clothes, plus a shoe rack OUTSIDE of the closet for all of my shoes, plus a free standing "closet" w/ all of my suits and dress clothes.

2. No vent/heater in the bathroom.

Seems to be a common theme with older homes that there is not enough closet space. Our home is 100 years old, I guess people had very few articles of clothing back then. Which becomes a problem when you are a clothes horse like me.

The rooms in our home are also very tiny. DH and I have come to the conclusion that the people who originally had this house built were Little People. We're 5'10" and 6'2" respectively, and its tight around here, to say the least.

My KITCHEN is the smallest kitchen known to man (or woman)! The double sink is split, on a corner, with the faucet in the middle of the 2 and, the sprayer in front of the faucet. What a pain! And, not only is there no Automatic dishwasher, there's NO ROOM either!! UGH, I hate that room! IF anyone ever eats in there, it's only my DD & I, since there's no room for anyone else!! I have 3 small areas of counter top, I mean small, 1 area has my dish drainer on it, another has a coffee maker. No counter-top space, at all. The worst part is that there is NO means of expanding this kitchen. It's in the Front of the house, yes, the front so, we can't expand out since there's a 15 foot building line outside in the front.
