What's more American than Disney?!We Brave the 4th of July! TR LINK pg. 55!!!!!!!

I also JUST started my master's with an online program, Walden. I didn't want to book the trip until it started so I could see how easy/hard it would be to do work in advance before our trip. It seems like it will be easy enough so we decided to book.

Not Disney related, but I've been thinking about an online masters. How is it so far? Is the workload managable?

It's totally manageable....I think. I mean, I have just a week and a half left of my second course (8 weeks each) and so far it hasn't been bad. BUT, I have no children or other things that keep me too occupied. The work is getting to be a little bit of a pain but it's not really difficult and as long as you can pace yourself, it's not a lot of work at all. It's so great to be able to do the work on my own time and not have to go to class.

Hey guys!! I am super excited! I just figured out how to use imovie so last night I uploaded ALL my honeymoon pictures to my computer and spent pretty much all night yesterday and this evening to work on it and I'm so happy with the way it came out!

Check it out!

Hi there! I'm jumping over from tinkgurl's TR. I must say, I really love all of the pics in your siggie. :goodvibes I love seeing pics of people really enjoying themselves at WDW. I just scanned through your TR looking for updates and I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's job loss. At least you have something positive to look forward to.

I have the black Minnie Mouse headband with the red bow and I love it!!! I bought it in Jan 09 and brought them with me again in June 09. I even had a CM call me over so he could straighten out the bow! He was such a nice older gentleman. They don't get hot in the sun at all and most of the time, I forgot I was wearing them! :rotfl: They're pretty comfortable. Even at the end of June, I wore my hair down every single day. It's about shoulder length and very thick and curly. It really didn't bother me too much.

I can't wait to read more about your plans!

Awesome montage! Glad you shared!:thumbsup2

Thanks! So glad you liked it!

Hey! Thanks for coming over!!

Good to know about the headband. I think I'm going to wait to decide when we get there...see what jumps out at me!

Thanks for the compliment on my sig pictures. I actually JUST put together a video montage of our honeymoon pictures. It's posted a few posts up and it's also in my sig. :thumbsup2

Aww I love the video montage, so cute :goodvibes

Thanx for sharing :)

Your video montage is awesome! I started one a couple months ago with pictures from my summer trip, but lost inspiration and never finished it. Maybe someday I'll get around to it.

Just got a chance to watch the video - so cool!! I loved it!!

My kids have been doing projects with animoto - a program which compiles pictures you upload with music.....my goal is to take a lot of pics this summer and I would love to do something similar.

I know I read your TR awhile ago, but I forget - where did you stay at Disney after the cruise? Were you back at the Poly?

Thank you!! You should finish it! It was so much fun, I actually started one day and finished it the next! I couldn't stop!

The program does it automatically? That's pretty cool...although it was fun to try to figure out where I want to the pictures to change.

We didn't stay over night after the cruise. We got off the boat very early in the morning, rented a car and were at Epcot by around 10am. We just spent the day in Epcot, then flew home that night.

I love the montage! I think the crazy poses and your facial expressions make the pictures wonderful to look at. I am not normally silly, so I am afraid that pics of me like this would not read anything but ridiculous. :rolleyes1

I keep waivering about ordering a photobook with all of our Disney photos in it. I did scrapbook some pics from our Aug 08 trip. I haven't done anything with the Feb 09 trip though.

I've used photoshow to create "films" of the girls to send to family. I started to do one for Disney with "cover" Disney music...I really need to learn about MP3 vs MP4. Watching yours has inspired me to return and try again!! :yay:

Loved the video and what a perfect song choice!

Haha, I know! I thought that song was so funny!

Thanks! Yes, we take crazy pictures! We LOVE taking pictures (as if you couldn't tell) and we like to be silly. I also very much prefer taking pictures with US in them instead of just scenery. Scenery pictures could have been taken anytime but having a subject with the scenery makes the pictures so much better.

Definitely go back and try again. I know nothing about mp3 vs. mp4. In fact, I never even heard of mp4! :confused3 I just played around with the program until I figured it out!

Nikki - what program did you use? I spent two hours creating a DVD for my SIL. (Her wedding gift - it hasn't quite been a year :rotfl:) Pics from picking out her dress, the tasting, the bridal luncheon, etc. Then, the darn program wouldn't burn the DVD. UGH - okay. I'll try later. I go to pull it up; the bugger didn't save. :headache:

I use Roxio photoshow; it is wonderful and easy - when it works. Most of the time I had to spend was deleting and editing photos...

I used imovie. I didn't even know I had it until I though...hmm, maybe one of these icons can edit! It's my school laptop (mac). I never would have been able to do it on my home desktop pc. I haven't even thought about burning it. I haven't tried to see if this computer can even do that. My sister told me she has a dvd burner on her computer and I think you can burn right from youtube. :confused3 Not sure though...

really enjoyed the video, easy to see epcot is your favourite park nikki!

and totally agree about pictures with people in them, far more interesting, i was just thinking earlier i'm going to do a marracas photo 'in the style of nikki!':rotfl:

Haha oh definitely! The maracas are such fun! Especially after a few margaritas! Actually, that picture with the maracas was after lunch at the Biergarten in which much alcohol was consumed! You can sort of tell in the pictures that immediately follow that lunch! LOVE Epcot! :thumbsup2 Too bad you won't even be in Epcot on the same day as us. We could've done a double maracas picture together!

So happy to see your PTR, as I loved reading all about your honeymoon adventures. So sorry to hear about DH's job. Looking forward to hearing more about your plans for the 4th!
