What's inside the castle?

It has been ten years since I last visited and I can't remember for the life of me.

Thanks

What do you see when you walk through it?

DD is dead-set on spending time in Cindy's castle. I didn't get CRT ressies for breakfast. Am I going to have to try to get the new lunch character meal? Or can I get away with walking her through the castle? Is it just a hallway? Can't remember. Mom brain.

You walk "through" the castle, but it's not like you think. The ONLY thing in it as mentioned before is Cinderella's Royal Table. As you walk "through" the castle you can see your way into Fantasyland or your way to Main Street depending on which way you're coming. The castle walls are decorated and if I remember correctly there is one gift shop as you go through on one side and Cinderella's restaurant on the other . princess:

Sounds like I need to scramble for an ADR. ;)

Thanks

Really there's not much in the castle other than the restaurant.

There is an AMAZING mural on the left as you walk through that is really neat to look at.

While there are obvious other accesses to the interior of the castle, they are off limits and no theming is built inside the castle.

That's a shame. Can you imagine if there was just a big ballroom (i.e. air conditioning pen) where all the little dressed-up junior princesses could dance around? My dd would flip. ;)

There is a shop too... and upstairs is the special changing room (that use to be CRO) that the main princesses get to use for a dressing room. Wouldn't that be so cool!

Like others have mentioned, there is a mural on the wall as you walk through. Then on the left is King's Gallery gift shop and on the right is CRT (this is going to Fantasyland). The mural is beautiful (I have photos that I will be posting later), King's Gallery is REALLY expensive :scared1: :earseek: (I should know- I bought something there. LOL), and CRT is GREAT. For anyone considering doing CRT, DO IT!! It's totally worth it!

Let me tell you what's in the castle at Disneyland Paris, because it's just SO COOL!

Upstairs is a room to walk around, where the story of Sleeping Beauty is told in a combiation of stained glass widows and tapestries. It is so beautiful.

Downstairs is the dungeon, complete with an animatronic dragon!

Here are pics of a few of the mosaic murals in the castle.

Those murals are beautiful! Thanks for the posting the pics.

I saw a show on travel channel, they said that there is an apartment on the top of the castle that Walt and his family were planning to live in... unfortunatly he didn't live to see it. I head the park telecommunications people were staying there. It would be neat if they had tours.

I second that. These murals are gorgeous and almost worth a trip by themselves. Brenda

A friend of mine told me for a fee (a large one) you can have a slumber party in the castle. Has anyone heard of this? princess:
