We will be staying in SSR in April for our first trip home and while I know things like a coffe maker, microwave, sink and refrigerator are in the studio rooms, does Disney provide any mugs for coffee, plates, forks, etc. and what about dish detergent, dish towels, sponge?

Also, is there anything else that I should bring with me along those lines?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

There are mugs and glasses, but paper plates and plastic cutlery in the studios. I think there are paper towels, a sponge, and dish soap too.

I bring coffe in filter packs to make it easier. I've begun bringing ceramic mugs (large, not "good ones). The mugs they give you are quite small.
I usually bring some plastic glad round containers that double to store some things in, and we use them as cereal bowls. The little paper bowls are too small for us as well.

Studio: Features a queen-sized bed with a double-sized sleeper sofa. These units include a kitchenette with microwave, under-counter refrigerator, wet bar, coffee maker, ceiling fan, TV, clock radio, hair dryer, full bath with outside vanity, wall safe and private porch or balcony.( Four guests maximum plus one child under age 3 in a crib.)

To make light meals and snacks, 2 mugs, 4 glasses, paper plates and bowls, and plastic cutlery are provided in addition to dish soap and linens for cleanup.

Paper and plastic products are for a service of four, however, you can get replacement paper and plastic products on request.

:)

Does the studio kitchenette have toasters? Can't remember from our last trip.
Thanks.

We bring plates that can go into the microwave, real flatware (altho' I believe we could get the same from mousekeeping), a good knife and bar size cutting board, storage containers and plastic bags and a folding dish drainer. We stay in a studio for about a week and eat a lot of sandwiches and salads, in addition to breakfast food. -- Suzanne

There is also a list (sometimes inside the cabinet door). It will tell you what is in the room and what items you can request (no-fee). We usually request a blender :dance3:

We also bring a small knife with us because trying to cut with a plastic knife just doesn't work. I agree about bringing coffee mugs. We just returned from the AKV and the coffee mugs were really just teacups. Barely a mouthfull.

Do you do a grocery delivery? We have found that a small cutting board and a Swiss Army knife are useful.

Thanks everyone for your help and tips! I'm so excited that toasters are included as well so we can have bagels in the morning for breakfast, and I will definately bring my own mug since the ones provided are so small.
