Williamsburg, and Great Wolf Lodge! <though I did get a $99 a night special at the lodge so that was budget!>

Ok, inquiring minds have to know! How'd you do that?! That's a GREAT deal! Good for you guys!

I got it from the Budget Board...using the code EDGE will get you $99 for some nights until late June. Just put in Edge and it will show you a calendar when they are available. We had a BLAST!

Oh! Ok. Thanks for passing that on. You guys got a great rate, that's for sure! GWL is expensive!! How were the restaurants?

Frozen pizza tonight - DH will be gone so just me and DD. I think it was about $4 but I had a $1 coupon.

tonight starts the week from budget heck!!:lmao:

My husband's birthday is tomorrow and my girls turn 16 and 12 next Wednesday. My family is coming from out of town to celebrate...so a LOT of meals will be eaten out. I ordered Chick Fil A for the party Saturday and will get fruit and veggies from Costco but it is still expensive to feed 20!!

I will come back on next Thursday when I have to go back to being on a budget!!

OMGosh! Us too!! My oldest DS turns 13 tomorrow, then it's Mother's Day, my mom's b-day is May 13, my MIL is May 14, and my youngest DS turns 9 on May 17! We are going to Ocean City Maryland this weekend to celebrate DS's b-day and Mother's Day. My mom is coming for dinner on her b-day, my IL's will be in town on Thursday, and we are taking my youngest bowling and out to a hibachi Japanese restaurant on his b-day next Saturday. Can you say "Cha-Ching"? :headache: BUT, once May is over, it's pretty much smooth sailing. My b-day is in June, and Dh's is in October, but we normally don't do much for ourselves (except we're cruising for my b-day ....but that's our summer vacation too!)

We had tacos, with enough leftover for dinner tonight. I stir a can of refried beans into the taco meat, to help stretch it further. It makes for a yummy taco. Does anyone else do this?

I'm making a Pillsbury pizza tonight. Pillsbury pizza dough, canned sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese. I'll make a green salad with that and call it a night!;)

Making pasta with Italian Sausage with Vodka Cream sauce I bought at Sam's. It was a splurge ($5 I think) but looked yummy. Probably $9 for meal.

Eldest DD is away at a band festival today, so its just DH and I and the younger DDs for dinner. We have to be at the school where the festival is being held by 6:30 for the concert presentation, and DH doesn't get home from work till 5:30, so our dinner schedule will be quite abbreviated. :sad2:

I think DH and I will make cold sandwiches and maybe grab a piece of fruit, then we will take the little kids through Wendy's drivethru for chicken nuggets and fries as a treat. They can eat them in the van on the way to the concert.

Right now the kiddos are enjoying an after-school snack of a bowl of popcorn and some apple juice, so they won't be too hungry tonight anyway.

We're having Michael Angelo's Lasagna ($10 for 2 pkgs!). Just one package $5. :) And garlic bread. We didn't feel like a salad tonight. Haven't had dessert yet. It'll be something small.

No but that sounds good. As long as I didn't tell me DD it was beans ( she refuses to eat baked or refried-only lima!) I think I could pass it off. Wait. will it work in chicken? I don't like hamburger meat loose. It's a texture thing.

I had chicken last night with enough left over for my lunch today. I have been bringing my lunch now for about 3 weeks. I am so proud of myself.

I do! :thumbsup2 It is a great budget stretcher, but it also helps the beans go in easier in the taco shells. It is so hard to get refried beans evenly in the shell otherwise! :upsidedow

no budget here for us tonight :headache:

I went to bed around 6:30 for a little nap as I was so tired.. I woke up a bit ago and asked DH what he did for dinner and he said "I got Chicken Express".. ugh.. that was $30 for chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, etc.. I told him I planned on leftovers from last night.. :headache:

Totally my fault as I should have written a note or called him..

I havent done that before but will definitely try it the next time we have tacos..

I made poppy seed chicken casarole for 12 last night and only spent 8 dollars!!

I had the cream of chicken and poppt seeds, DBFs mom gave me the sour cream, and I bought the chicken and some bread rolls!

:)

Love the beans in tacos idea. I have a can of refried beans right now in the pantry that I was wondering what to do with.

Tonight was spaghetti......

sauce from my triple batch (last one though:guilty: ) - probably 1.00
noodles - 0.50
garlic breadsticks - 1.87

dessert will be either an apple, oranges or some pudding.

Tonight is the leftover spagetti that we didnt eat last night :lmao: DH just thought he was being smart by ordering out yesterday when I was sleeping.. I'll show him.. :rotfl2:
