Pasta with Tuna sauce!

1 can italian tuna in oil $1.49
1 jar sauce .99
1/2 lb linguine .49
1 sm onion .25
Bread .99

Spice and EVOO in pantry. Cheap and delicous meal!

Mrs. Disney Ron

Spaghetti night:

Sauce $1.29
Gr. beef $2.99
Pasta $0.99
Homemade garlic bread $0.50
Maybe another $0.25 for the extra garlic and herbs I add.

Total $6.02 :woohoo:

I'm also doing rice pudding in the crockpot but the stuff for that was less than $4 so still under $10 today even with dessert!

Last night,my dad came home with dinner for me and the kids. It was potato wedges and fried chicken. Not the healthiest, but a nice treat on Valentine's day. I warmed up some veggies to go with it and it was delicious!!

Corn dogs tonight. A box of 20 was $4.99. We will only eat about half of them tonight and save the rest for another time.
Tater tots to go with them, and probably a can of peaches.

Friday nights around here are kind of relaxed... sometimes "healthy" goes right out the window and is replaced by "tired" and "easy". :rolleyes1

I so hear you on that one!!

Girls asked for mac & cheese tonight....think I'll do up a half package of 2 different shrimps to go with it (butterfly fried and scampi for me) and veggies and fruit....easy or fairly easy but the shrimp make it a bit expensive but still under $10.

1 package rigatoni $1.00
1 jar sauce $1.00
1 container ricotta cheese $1.75
1/2 brick mozzarella $1.00

Tonight it's leftover homemade mac and cheese w/side salad. Easy!

Us too! I made homemade Mac and Cheese last night, and we're having it again tonight. That, and left over meatloaf, and left over Chinese food. It's kind of a pot luck night!

We did a valentines dinner last night. I stumbled across beef tenderloin for about $5 a pound - it was a two pound roast, but we put about 3/4s of it in the freezer for stir fry. Did a salt and pepper rub and roasted it rare. Served with a salad, and mashed potatoes. It was really good and a lot more budget than heading out for dinner on valentines day.

Meatloaf -
Ground Chuck $1.69 lb used 1 1/2 lbs
Garlic Mashed Potatoes - .99 for a 5 lb bag plus, a bit of butter, milk and one clove of garlic ?
Corn - .25
Steamed Broccoli .99 lb for crowns

Taco Bell tonight. :scared1:

We're all tired and have been to busy to grocery shop and cook. I took dinner to the homeless shelter (for 30 people) and then hit taco bell for our own family!

$11.63 for 5 people (one is 1 yr old) so not too bad, but certainly not nutritious.

you know if you don't have it very often it's okay to eat the "evil" fast food.

I find Taco Bell a little healthier than the other spots.

Totally NOT budget today - we went out for our Valentine's Day dinner. . . we both had soups and crabcakes. . yum yum. . . but no more out food for the rest of the month!

We're having dinner at some friends tonight. She didn't want me to bring anything, but I will bring a bottle of wine which was given to us when we had a party here at Christmas. Sooooo....can't get much more budget than that. Dinner for 4....$0!

(I'm also bringing my friend a birthday present, so I guess that can be figured in there too!:rotfl: )

We ate at cheeseburgers in paradise and took the kids to the movies with popcorn. There went my diet for the day, but we had a blast and the mixed drink I had at cheeseburgers in paradise was amazing, The lady in water or something like that YUMMY..:cloud9:
