do you put it together like a calzone? It sounds good but I dont know if my fussy son would try it. I am already trying to think of an alternate tonight for him since he made a yuk face about the chili.ktpool said:Kristen's house:
Broccoli Bread
Hamburger, salsa, mushrooms, broccoli and cheese layered and then baked in a loaf of thawed bread dough to golden brown.
DH's favorite - don't make it too often because it is so not part of the diet, but he did just clean under the refrigerator![]()

I think I might try this one out.ktpool said:yes, it is rolled like a calzone. Sometimes, I leave the broccoli and mushrooms out on 1/2 of mine so the kids can eat it too.
I brush it with 1 beaten egg to make the top look nice and shiny. Also, I mix up the cheese depending on what I have - cojack mix, cheddar, american, mozz. It is so simple because everything goes in it...sometimes I even do make it a calzone and use marinara instead of salsa.
I think pizza dough would work just as well too....

They finally seem somewhat better, maybe scrambled eggs and dry toast for them. Chicken soup has run its course here, I am tired of that. DS and I were not sick, but out of respect for the 'sickies', we didn't eat much either. (the smell of cooking was too much for them) DS ate a big lunch at school, and I did the same at work. DS is at work today at the mall, so he will eat there. I made some chicken salad from the chicken I cooked for yesterdays batch of soup.
