Melanie's House:

Dad's cooking up some speghetti and throwing in some bacon to make my delious and favorite meal... yep you guess it Bacon Pasta! Finally, a meal that I will eat!!!

My question is what is for supper?

I just made pot of white turkey chile, pico de gallo and beer bread. I had to sample it so now I doubt I will be eating at supper time!

Kristen's house:

Broccoli Bread

Hamburger, salsa, mushrooms, broccoli and cheese layered and then baked in a loaf of thawed bread dough to golden brown.

DH's favorite - don't make it too often because it is so not part of the diet, but he did just clean under the refrigerator :rotfl:

Both of you better save me some... when is the next flight out? JOKING!

Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and gravy.

grilled cheese sammy's with a caesar salad. we always do a quick meal on sundays, more time together, b4 a busy week.

We already ate dinner...

DH grilled steak, had Mac&Cheese, and green beans. We are all housecleaning today and were hungry!

do you put it together like a calzone? It sounds good but I dont know if my fussy son would try it. I am already trying to think of an alternate tonight for him since he made a yuk face about the chili. :stir:

yes, it is rolled like a calzone. Sometimes, I leave the broccoli and mushrooms out on 1/2 of mine so the kids can eat it too.

I brush it with 1 beaten egg to make the top look nice and shiny. Also, I mix up the cheese depending on what I have - cojack mix, cheddar, american, mozz. It is so simple because everything goes in it...sometimes I even do make it a calzone and use marinara instead of salsa.
I think pizza dough would work just as well too....

I think I might try this one out.
Thanks for the tip

Left over Chicken Marsala from Buca Di Peppo's (yummy) & left over Penne Arriabiata with sausage (a bit too spicy.....my tummy burned for hours last night but doing it again today!!) That dish "hurts so good!" ;)

I have an Italian bread soup in the crockpot, and we are also ordering a huge container of honey bbq chicken wings from DS's favorite wing restaurant because it's his birthday ( Dangerboy turned 16 today ! )

Not much again tonight......DD15 and DH have had that stomach virus that was going around.......... :crazy2: They finally seem somewhat better, maybe scrambled eggs and dry toast for them. Chicken soup has run its course here, I am tired of that. DS and I were not sick, but out of respect for the 'sickies', we didn't eat much either. (the smell of cooking was too much for them) DS ate a big lunch at school, and I did the same at work. DS is at work today at the mall, so he will eat there. I made some chicken salad from the chicken I cooked for yesterdays batch of soup.

I have a big pot of chili cookin' - and it smells yummy!!

Leftover's here tonight, going to clean out the fridge! :thumbsup2 Pot luck!

Something yummy from the strawberry festival. :teeth:

Suzanne

Porcupine meatballs over noodles, probably green beans and strawberry shortcake.
