Thoughts on what you would chose?

I'm looking at a 5 night on the Magic for July. I have a placeholder and know that it can't be used on restricted fares so..

IGT - $3000
OGT - $3500

use my placeholder
IV - $3400
OV - $4000

My only concern is being assigned deck 1 if I go OGT. Seems like all the OV cabins on Deck 1 are available. :rotfl:

If there is anyway possible to do the 8/31 or any September 5 night on the magic
We got ours for $2420 ocean view with a placeholder on deck 2. I am interested to see what the GT rates are when the come out most likely next month
( note this is for 2 people )

I was hoping my Sept 19th would go *GT but Im only seeing 40 rooms available so it very well might not. I only paid $2100 with a placeholder for 2 ppl in an inside sideways room so it will be okay either way.

I was given Deck 1 on a TransAtlantic and I really liked it! (After a while). Easy access to empty elevators. Really quiet. My port holes were right at the waterline so you could watch the seabirds skim the churning wake of the ship. It’s usually the deck you exit for ports. No movement so no seasickness.

I walked on Deck 2 to see if I could see a cabin with the 1 big porthole (just looked from the aisle as the door was open for cleaning) and where I was had really loud music you could hear from a theater (this was the Magic) so I was then happy to be on Deck 1.

And at night, all the cabins look the same.

Haha, we were on the 9/5 Magic but switched that to the Wish HOTHS. We were supposed to stay at the Poly in July but I thought maybe we should do a cruise instead. With food and park tickets it would cost the same.

I would much rather cruise in July than visit the parks (even though I love the Poly)... with one exception. If you were booked at the Poly for over 4th of July watching the Magic Kingdom July 3rd & 4th fireworks from Poly beach is wonderful and the resort really strives to limit it to resort guests on those nights.

I saw them last year from our room at the Contemporary. Best I’ve ever seen
