What would you change about WDW if you had the chance

It's nice to see that others agree that charging a 10-12 year old at adult rates for supper is just silly...I just wish there really was something we could do for that....

-Bulldoze RC. I don't care that it is barricaded off, the pics I've seen are too depressing.

Help! I can't figure out what RC is, and it is driving me crazy!

I would get rid of all signs of Stitch......I think he is plotting to take over Mickey's place!

River Country.;)

-Bring the animators back to the animation tour or get rid of it completely.

I completely agree with you on that one!!! Agree with you on the bread thing too but definately the animators. It used to be a huge dream of mine to be an animator for WDW so when I took the tour, years ago, I almost had my nose pressed against the class looking in at the animators whimpering like a lost pup. I loved the personalized cubicles, watching the creative minds at work, etc. Very sad when they left. :sad2:

Huh? :confused3 I don't understand what you are saying here...

My guess is she's saying that her family is too large to stay affordably on-site (standard rooms max out at 4 or 5 people, and suites are expensive). So she would oppose fast passes that are offered exclusively to on-site guests.

I never thought of it that way. Makes sense to me.

Aha! I get it now...yes, that does make sense because that would rule out larger families with a budget just because they are a larger family. That isn't fair...that would go back to adding more reasonably priced rooms for larger families! :thumbsup2

First, the gosh darn coffee.
Second, put the poor Wonders of Life Pav out of its misery if you can't find a sponsor to redo it.
Third, I totally agree with the idea of reducing the number of character meals. We enjoy an occasional character meal as much as the next Disney nut, but as two adults on their own w/o kids, there's only so much we can take. If we want decent table service food in the parks without characters, our options are really limited!! :sad2:

If I had the chance to change anything about Disney World, it would be to lower the ticket and resort prices. It would also be great to expand the monorail system bit by bit to include more destinations.

Level off the prices to a fair playing field. WDW wasn't meant only for the well-to-do. :flower3:

I can't remember the coffee at WDW, but due to the number of you that hate it, I'll take your word for it and hop on that bandwagon. I've heard that the chesseburger buns also suck now. My other thoughts:

MK: definitely needs another good table service restaurant.
Bring back 20,000 Leagues
Update Space Mountain
I agree that the characters should walk around more for random meetings like the old days.
I miss the Penny Arcade

EC: Do something with the Wonders of Life pavilion- new d or e-ticket ride
WS needs another country or two
I agree with the poster that said put a ride in Germany
(Of course, I wouldn't mind if each country had a ride in it somewhere)
Bring back Horizons ?

HS: Definitely needs more rides and less shows/walk through attractions
Get rid of Sounds Dangerous and Narnia- insert ride
Update Star Tours. That rookie pilot character is just annoying.

AK: Would like it to be open later, but care of animals may not make this possible.
Tear down Chester & Hester area and put in something good

General
- Monorail access to all 4 parks would be great.
- I love the idea of the nostalgia dvd of past attractions. Someone should pose that idea to Disney.
- I would like to see less Pixar and more classic Disney. I don't care what some people say, Toy Story, Ratatouille and Cars are not Disney to me.
- I agree with an earlier poster about not having as much of the same stuff in all the shops.

As the fastpasses go, I do not think they should be exclusive to resort guests. We stay off site. I would not mind resort guests getting some type of extra pass. Maybe they could pick a special pass at their resort each day. Tell the desk which park you are going to. They give you a pack of passes for that park.

Those of us who stay off site (And we love our timeshare. It is so close that we can be home from any park in 10 minutes.) can use the system. Those of you on site get an extra perk.

I also agree that they should do a better job of getting rid of us during EMH.

I'd remove the dining plan entirely. And tear down those unfinished buildings at Pop Century.

Get rid of Sounds Dangerous and Narnia- insert ride

Narnia's gone, making way for Toy Story Mania.

Dawn68PA, I 100% have to agree. Over the last several years ticket prices have increased to many times.

I also would change the price of tickets for children ages 3 - 5. At this age there are many children that still do not meet the hieght restrictions.

I also would like to change that each resort had it's own bus transportation and did not share with other resorts.

The fingerprint scanning!! It slows down everything and I apparently have a weird superpower, I always know how to get right behind someone who has no clue how it works! Wrong finger, ties different finger, so on....

I would bulldoze over the Country Bear Jamboree. In fact, I'm volunteering my services right now, although it will require me to learn how to operate a bulldozer.

Also, I would sell fewer tickets to special events like MNSSHP, Pirates and Princesses, etc.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!:rotfl2:

Seriously. They are WDW and earn Trillions of dollars every year (I am guessing). They shouldn't need a sponsor to redo a ride IMO!!! They should sink their own money into it.
