What will Disneyland look like in early to mid-November?

My family will be visiting Disneyland/California Adventure Nov. 10-11. I can't tell from looking at the posts on this board if the parks will be in full Christmas mode then. HM will have the NBC overlay, but what about Small World? Any guesses what parades, if any, will be going on then? Also, our flight is scheduled to land at LAX at 4 p.m. on Nov. 9. Would that give us enough time to drive to USH and see the highlights?

We don't really know what post 60th crowds will be like. But the half marathon expo opens on Thursday, and that brings crowds and even more on Friday. Last year, that was also the day of the IASW lighting ceremony and there was a press event for Season of the Force. Usually the holiday parade and fireworks will soft open a few days before the official start of the holidays, and that will also bring crowds. In addition, Veteran's Day is that Friday, and many local schools will be out.

They haven't announced the start of the holiday season at DLR yet, but I would expect it to be right around then. If that's the case, I would expect it to be busy, especially with marathon and Veteran's Day that weekend.

The holiday stuff will be at least partially up, and that weekend might be the official launch of the holidays, in which case it would all be up.

And no, you won't have time to do USH on the 9th, sorry...
