What was your first concert...and your most recent?

My first was the Association back in '68

My most recent was Rod Stewart a couple of years back. :)

My very first concert was Bobby Sherman at the Westbury Music Fair on Long Island. (Don't know if that place still exists or if it's been re-named.) I know, most of you are asking "Bobby who???" That's how OLD I am!! LOL!!

My latest concert was Bon Jovi in October of '05. (That's how young at heart I still am!) I took my 10 y/o DS to see the concert. We had a blast. Especially since we were in the VERY last row of the Palace & a Palace employee asked us if we'd like to move closer to the stage. We said "sure!" They gave us new tickets which were 8 ROWS FROM THE STAGE!!! Talk about thrilled. I thoroughly embarrassed my DS by dancing & singing at the top of my lungs. Life was really good that night!! :lmao:

It does and I know exactly who he is. When I was young I wanted my name to be changed to "Julie," and the answer would have been a resounding "YES!" :teeth:

Electric Light Orchestra at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium in 1978 was the first.

The last? God, I gotta think...

Probably Fleetwood Mac's The Dance Tour several years ago. We don't go to concerts anymore - too expensive. I'll save my money for WDW. :teeth:

My first concert was the Village People. Gloria Gaynor (I Will Survive) opened for them. I was in 7th grade and the guy next to us was wearing nail polish and really into the music. I couldn't figure it out. :confused3
Most recent concert, The Riders in the Sky. They even played a medley of songs from Toy Story and Toy Story II. :dogdance:

My first was The Rolling Stones with my parents when I was 9. Most recent was a bunch of shows at South by Southwest in Austin.

My first concert was the Allman Brothers,Alex Taylor, John Hammond, and Blue Oyster Cult (what a combination!) in Miami in 1974. My friend and I didn't get to hear the last band (Allman Brothers) because her father flaked out after agreeing to pick us up if my father would drive us there, so my dad had to do all the driving and he didn't want to stay up late. We still had a great time! We were in the first or second row and it was quite and experience!

I saw Nickel Creek, currently my favorite band, a month or two ago and they were absolutely awesome. This is the second time I've seen them and they were even better than the first time.

Wow...my 1st concert was Paul Revere and the Raiders when I was in probably the 5th grade (maybe 1965-66??) :woohoo:
My most recent experience -- 6 Bon Jovi concerts this winter!!!! We did 5 concerts in 10 days! :lovestruc
My NEXT concert is the American Idol Tour in July at Hershey. Can't wait to see Chris!! ::yes::

Oh dear, can't believe I'm writing this.

The first was Huey Lewis in 7th grade...and the most recent was Barry Manilow last year. Stop laughing - they were both GREAT! ;)

Now in between those is everything from Motley Crue to Harry Connick Jr. :rolleyes1

My first was "Quiet Riot", believe it or not - most recent was Gretchen Wilson - quite a range! :lmao:

Ok, my first concert ever was in 1978, I was 15 - saw KISS and STYX (Grand Illusion Tour) opened for them...............

Most recent concert was INSTITUTE (Gavin Rossdale' new band) last August...........have tickets for the American Idols concert this year.

I saw PANTERA numerous times in Dallas club' before they hit it big; back then Dimebag Darrel (R.I.P.) was Diamond Darrel and they were all decked out in spandex and big hair.

I also saw Bon Jovi in a small Dallas club right as Runaway hit MTV - I knew who they were because I watched MTV but the majority of the people in the club that night had no idea who they were - I heard "who's that?" so many times.

Here is a picture from that night:

My first concert was The Moody Blues......saw them a total of 4 times.

Last concert was Casting Crowns and Stephen Curtis Chapman.

I've also seen--Bon Jovi, Billy Ray Cyrus ( :confused3 ) :rotfl2: Michael W. Smith, David Crowder Band, Beach Boys, Phil Collins, Genesis, Neil Diamond.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thinks that!!! :p Someone needs to introduce them, they'd be so excellent together!
I hope they do some day! They are just so similar in style and vocals that they would just rock!!!!
And the cute accents together with hot guys... to die for ;)

My very first concert was Queen. I had never heard anything that loud in my life!! I wore a crushed velvet pantsuit.

The last concert I saw was Keith Urban last fall. What a difference 3 decades make!

I get that!!!!! :teeth:

My first was Shaun Cassidy in 7th grade - my most recent was Davy Jones at Epcot. I apparently haven't grown much!!!

Just when you get done laughing at the Barry manilow post above-my first was Barry M when I was about 4 years old at Blossom Music Center near Cleveland. The last concert was Casting Crowns and Building 429 in Frankfort, KY. Who knows what the next concert will bring.

First...Bon Jovi 1986 on Long Island

Most recent..Phil Vassar in Vegas, he's hot.

First: George Harrison at Madison Square Garden in '74

Most recent: Heart at Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Orlando this past April then
Kool and the Gang at Mardi Gras the next weekend.

Saw them before they were famous: I think it was in '79, I went to a dive in NJ called Hole in the Wall to see Squeeze. In truth, Squeeze weren't very big yet but the real story here is that the opening act was a guy named Jon Bongiovi! He was actually booed off the stage by people waiting to see Squeeze! Not the best pairing of artists ever made. A night he'd rather forget I'm sure!!

My first concert was Men At Work, at the Universal Amphitheatre, now known as the Gibson Amphitheatre.

Last concert was They Might Be Giants at Pops, IL.

When I was in high school. I'd sometimes hear a local band playing at the kegger parties. They were pretty good. Called themselves No Doubt, but they hadn't yet gotten Gwen to start singing with them yet. (I think she was only 13 or 14 at the time and not old enough/taken seriously.)

YOU SAW NO DOUBT WITH JOHN?! OH MY GOD I AM SO JEALOUS.

My first concert: I saw New Kids on the Block.

My last concert: I took DD to see American Idol on tour last summer.
