What was your first concert...and your most recent?

My first concert was the Osmond Brothers. The most recent was Jesse McCartney (took DD to see him) that was her first. (ha ha Allison beat ya to it) :p

I'm really dating myself first ever concert was Alice Cooper at Roosevelt stadium in Jersey City. Last was Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band at Continental Arena.

First concert: REO Speedwagon at Alpine Valley. I won tickets from WLS :)

Last concert: Lt. Dan Band with Gary Sinise in Chicago.

First concert was Huey Lewis and the News at the Worcester Centrum when I was 14.

Last concert was U2 at Madison Square Garden this past fall.

I've seen a couple of bands before they got really really big...Pearl Jam played my college at our Student Union (crazy show) back in, I think, 1990 or 1991. I saw Sarah McLachlan at the Somerville theater right before she released Fumbling towards Ecstasy and became huge.

DH and I used to go to concerts all the time when we were dating because he worked at Ticketmaster. We don't go as often any more, partly because of time constraints, and partly because all those concerts resulted in some hearing loss in my right ear, so now I only go if it is really worth it (and wear earplugs!).

Elton John. My mom was going with a friend and at the last minute the friend canceled (her daughter was in labor) so I got to go instead. I was maybe 8 or 9.

I had been to festival shows like I so Joe Walsh with The James Gang when I was maybe 6 at ChicagoFest but that was a free outdoor show as part of the festival.

Most receint was Depeche Mode maybe. no Areosmith, in January. I have tickets for Sammy Hagar tonight. Not sure if I'll go or not but I've got them just in case.

1st: The Police Synchronicity Tour 1983-Miami Orange Bowl

Last: Coldplay Twisted Logic Tour 2005- NYC Madison Square Gardens

I'm pretty sure the first major concert I went to was The Beatles in 1964. They were at the old Boston Garden and we were in the first balcony maybe 200 feet away.

Last concert I saw was at the Fleet Center (or whatever they're calling it this month  ) in 2003. Simon and Garfunkel. To be a bit more accurate, I did see Eric Burdon at EPCOT last Spring.

My first concert was George Harrison on the Dark Horse Tour and my last was Paul McCartney twice in Detroit once in Chicago and once in Dallas all on the same tour!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :dance3:

First concert - KISS -many, many years ago

Last concert - Shania Twain in Las Vegas. Oh wait, I forgot about the Trans-Siberian Orchestra this past December.

On another note, not really a concert but I saw Jerry Sienfeld at a small, local comedy club a year before his hit TV show aired.

First concert was Aerosmith with a very young G-n-R opening up in 1988. My last concert SHOULD have been Aerosmith in March but was cancel due to illness :sad1:. So I think my actual last concert was Fleetwood Mac.

First: Elton John & I didn't even know who he was! I worked the phones at the Box Office at the Oakland Arena until about 1/2 hour a show started. I was able to walk in and see the show if I wanted. I didn't stay (his opening act was on - can't remember who she was.) I met DH a few weeks later and told him about all of my part-time jobs. He couldn't believe that I passed up seeing Elton John! So I guess I didn't really see him in concert at that time, so my first concert must have been Gordon Lightfoot. (more my speed at the time!)

My most recent concert was a few months ago - Chris Isaak.

Tonight DH & I are going to see Huey Lewis and the News along with Chicago!! Can't wait!

1st - Creedence Clearwater Revival - Tower of Power opened the show, and Bo Diddley was the second act - about 6/71

Most Recent - Three Dog Night - 11/05 at Epcot

Best Story - Seeing Aerosmith at the Viking Hotel in Newport Rhode Island - 9/73 - just before they started to get famous

First was Rick Springfield, last was Def Leppard, next is Kenny Chesney.

My first concert was seeing Barry Manilow in 1980. I was way, way up in the bleachers, and he looked like a little, blurry nose.

My last concert was seeing ... Barry Manilow this past February! This time I was much closer.

And yes, I do see people other than Barry Manilow. Sometimes.

My first, when I was about 6, was Sha Na Na! :)

My most recent, and this is a few years ago now, was Jimmy Buffett. I'm a pretty big Parrothead.

My first concert was the Beach Boys(or what was left of them at the time) when I was only 8.

My most recent was... Aerosmith maybe? I'm trying to remember who I saw last summer. (I tend not to go to concerts in winter because I'm a hockey season ticket holder.) I'm headed to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in a couple of weeks.

People I saw before they were big.... Simple Plan(I didn't know who they were at the time and I still only know one of their songs but my sister wanted to go and I don't pass up any concerts.) I saw Ashlee Simpson at some big music festival before people really knew about her. There have been more but those were the most recent.

The first concert I went to with friends was Bon Jovi at the Forum.

The last concert I went to was Prince.
How funny...for me - exact opposite.

First concert - Prince (Purple Rain)

Last (but not least) concert - Bon Jovi this Feb

American Idol concert in 4.5 weeks.

I loooooove concerts. My one guilty pleasure. They are so expensive!

First--Bryan Adams and Autograph when I was in the 7th grade.

Latest--Kenny Chesney with Dierks Bentley and Sugarland last April.

Next--Kenny Chesney with Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley and Pat Green in Dallas next month....snagged 4th row tickets on Wednesday. :cool1:

I feel a little old for this thread. My first concert was The Beatles on their
first trip to America. My best friend and I went; her father took us. We
were 12 or 13 and it was the early 1960's. But, it was great!
