What was your first concert...and your most recent?

My first concert was the Beach Boys when I was little at Three Rivers Stadium (R.I.P.!!) and my most recent?? Bon Jovi maybe? July is my big concert month - Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi, and the American Idol tour. :)

My first concert ever was Billy Squier opening for Journey in Ventura, Calif in 1981.

Most memorable has to be Rod Stewart-when the Young Turks album came out-yes i said album. We had tickets and they were behind the stage in seats. we were so mad, we could not see a thing, only hear it. then about 5 mins into the show, the stage lifted and opened up and we were only 10-15 rows away from the back of the stage, and he played to both the front and rear to the stage!! It was great!

I did see U2 open for the J. Geils Band-and look how big they are now!

others i have seen have been-The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Jefferson Starship, J. Geils Band (2X), Duran Duran, Britney Spears, Missing Persons, Bon Jovi (2X), Ratt, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Loverboy, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, A Teens, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money, The Cars, Stryper, Styx, Go-Go's, Run DMC, Heart, Huey Lewis & The News, Eclpse, Pebbles, Lisa-Lisa & Cult Jam, REO Speedwagon, Oingo Boingo, Paul McCartney, and TheTemptations.

I am going to see Poison and Cinderella on July 2,

and we are also going to see Def Leppard and Journey in august.

I got us VIP tickets for def leppard. we are guaranteed to be in the first 7 rows, we get to go to the pre party and get a gift bag as well. I have always wanted to see DL, so i cant wait for that!!

My first was The Beach Boys back in the mid 80's and my most recent was
Rascal Flatts (with The Wreckers and Gary Allan) LAST NIGHT!!! Awesome, Awesome show!!!

First one was Alabama with Jeanne Frickie as opening act. My dad took me and my 2 brothers back early 80's.

Last one - Jimmy Buffett June 8th in Cincinnati. Will be going to Rob Zombie on 7/16. If that's not from one extreme to another.

For my DD9 and DS11, they will be able to list Jimmy as their very first.

We got to see Trisha Yearwood for free back in 1992, when we lived in Waterloo NY. She had just released her first album.

I just remember that my first concert was Shaun Cassidy (not Pat Benetar as previously reported). I was about 7 or 8 years old and went with a bunch of my friends (my mom chaperoned). For about 6 months after, I had my "I LOVE SHAUN" sign in the living room window. My dad was mortified :scared1:

First concert - I was at The Rolling Stones in early 1969, but had a crappy view (mom was 5 or 6 months preggers with me)

First concert THAT I REMEMBER -
Van Halen on their '1984' tour, in Indianapolis IN, when I was in 9th grade. Don't remember who opened for them. Saw 'em again on their 'OU812' tour in Knoxville TN when they were Van Hagar.

Latest concert -
They Might Be Giants in Knoxville TN, May 11th. Good show.

Jen0610 - My mom & dad live near Columbia City (Big Lake) - just west of you. Got a bunch of aunts & uncles who live in the Ft. Wayne area.

If you like the band in Epcot at Cananda, you will LOVE great big sea. They are so taleneted. I couldn't belive how many different insterments each member played. :cool1: :thumbsup2

Great Big Sea does have such a fun show. My singer, Chris Trapper, is going to work with them on another project later this year. :goodvibes
