What was your first concert...and your most recent?

Technically my first concert was the Beach Boys when I was 3, but apparently I fell asleep.
The first concert I really went to was Backstreet Boys.
The last concert was Third Eye Blind in Sayreville, NJ where I met Tony the guitarist.
The next concerts are BonJovi at Giants Stadium and Counting Crows/Goo Goo Dolls PNC Bank Arts Center in July.

My first was Sonny and Cher, and my most recent was REO Speedwagon.

First concert was Van Halen, 1984, last concert was Jimmy Buffett last year.

My first concert was Billy Joel at MSG when I was about 21. Most recent was Toby Keith last summer. :goodvibes

Many moons ago (over 20 years) I saw a local group called Zebra, they were big in Orange County NY at the time. The most recent was last night, we saw Collective Soul at Harbor Fest, before that was Journey last summer. Next month we hope to catch Journey again playing with Def Leppard.

OMG--I saw Zebra a bunch of times! That's a band that never quite got ti's due.

How was Collective Soul? I keeping checking their blog looking for new dates, nothing near me... They are great live!

My first concert was in 1989 I saw Bon Jovi and Skid Row. The most recent was a year ago (I think) and I saw Tim McGraw and Big & Rich, The Warren Brothers and Faith Hill all made an appearance as well.

First concert was the Osmonds brothers in 1971.
Was that at Madison Square Garden by any chance? Because if so, I was there too! That was actually my very first concert but I went with my parents so I kind of don't count it as such. I brought a tape recorder with me and all you can hear is pre-pubescent screaming  I also lost a contact lens during the concert and my father never let me hear the end of it!

Hmmm, before they were famous.... Til Tuesday. They played the Boston scene long before their records. Not a hugely famous band but most will have heard the song, "Voices Carry".

Til Tuesday actually played at a dance at my high school. It was a Catholic school, so you know they couldn't have been too big (expensive) then.

My first concert: Huey Lewis and the News.

My most recent: U2 at the Garden/2005.

that sounds fantastic!!! what a special sweet 16 your DD had! :goodvibes

wasn't their concert great.!
everyone was singing along with them.
it felt like everyone was remincising(s?)
and the guys looked like they were having as much fun as we were! :)

Yes, Cathy has very fond memories of how sweet Kevin Richardson was that November night back in 1999.

I really enjoy their songs and music and I have most of their albums also.

We enjoyed their comeback so much last summer. It was great to see them back on stage again and the fans still adored them so much. I also felt that the guys were having as much fun as we were!

i rember at the concert the girls were singing:

We love Donny
oh yes we do
We love you Donny
we always will
oh Donny we love you

That song brings back memories of the Beatles concerts I went to in mid sixties ---Only we sang:

We love you Beatles
Oh yes we do
We love you Beatles
Oh yes we do
When you're not near us
We're blue
Oh Beatles we love you
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah---Yeah---

It is so weird.I remember that song so well :rotfl: :rotfl2:

First-Rick Springfield
Last-Crossfade

My lucky, lucky sister met Kid Rock after his concert. I will be going to Nickleback concert in August (My favorite band). I would love to see Theory of a Deadman but never seem to get to. Also seen tons of Country Concerts. I have met Loretta Lynn, Conway, Billy Ray Cyrus, Bill Anderson, Barbara Mandrel, and Johnny Cash. My mom was best friends with a lady that wrote songs for Loretta so we would always go to Nashville. I also did see Rick Springfield about a year ago. I was surprised. That was truly one of the best concerts I have been to.

My first was probably one at Six Flags...I remember seeing Mr. Mister there and Richard Marx a few years later. My first "big arena" show was Duran Duran at Kiel Opera House, during their Big Thing tour.

Hmm....most recent I guess would have been David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails @ Riverport Amphitheatre here, in October '96 I think. Holy cow, that's been almost 10 years ago now! :earseek:

How was Crossfade? Do they put on a good show?

First concert: The Hooters (in college)

Last concert: INXS with JD Fortune in Atlantic City

Lots of good shows in between: Robert Palmer, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, YES (2X), Billy Joel, Duran Duran (2X), Charlie Daniels, Lonestar, Ricochet, Oak Ridge Boys, Little Texas

Best concert: Duran Duran - April 2005 in Philadelphia. Amazing show!

First concert was Herman's Hermits with The Who opening for them. It should have been in reverse! :rotfl: Gosh, that was ages ago.

Last concert was Kid Rock. I've been to quite a few of his concerts. He puts on a great live show! :thumbsup2

Believe it or not, I not only still have my original Zebra cassette, but it is in my car and I have listened to it recently. Amazing that it still works after all these years.

My first concert was Dave Matthews in 1997 and... most recent was Saturday... Sister Hazel, baby! Wahoo! :woohoo:

We've seen a lot of celebrities, actually. We keep running into the same guy from *N'SYNC every time in Orlando. It's really wierd!

xoxo
