So my DD5 has an appointment at BBB at 8:15 in the morning on a 9am Rope Drop day so the park wont be "Open", does anyone know how far we can go or wonder around with him until she's done? I know we can only get so far but what all could my husband maybe do or show the little guy while she is getting her makeover done. It wont be a long one just around 30 minutes I think :)

You’re limited to Main Street and probably the area in front of Crystal Palace which is open for breakfast during that time. Everything else is roped off. I haven’t been in early for BBB; however we have had a pre-park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace on 3 of our trips. It’s nice to walk around there early. He can get some cute pictures of him with no one around the castle.

Here’s some photos. First link is from our 2012 trip. My son was 2. We had a reservation at Crystal Palace, but it was for 8:30. We were let into the park at 7:45 along with people who had 8am reservations so we had some time to kill.

You can also usually spot some critters around. They also like to take advantage of the low crowds. In addition to the rabbit and lizard in the link above, on our 2013 trip we spotted a family of ducks while waiting to be seated at Crystal Palace.

Does he like chasing bubbles? Your husband could blow some since not many people will be around. Or bring a Matchbox car or two for him to play with around the hub.
