What to do with 1-day hopper passes...

That's an interesting idea. I would like to use the 1-day passes on this trip so I don't forget about them - and also because we don't usually take 4 day trips. If I saved the 4-day package pass, would I be able to turn it into a 7 day pass as part of a package in the future? Would we just go to Guest Services before entering the park to prioritize the passes? Or is that something we could do at the resort?

I think we will probably just save them for a room-only trip in the future, but it's good to know our options!

Guest services outside a park is the place to do this.

We had that happen (sort of) although kudos to you for winning! In our case, we ended up with x4 (1) day Hoppers from a business contact, we used x 2 tix on the way out of a Port Canaveral cruise and ended up keeping the other x2 for later. (Which we ended up using a month later- CRAZY- when dad unexpectedly booked a surprise anniversary Disney cruise and we 'crashed' it to 'surprise' HIM!) Bottom line, my thoughts are to save it or eventually upgrade it. Maybe you want to try a Disney cruise sometime, but you want at least a taste of the parks? One park day hopping a bit is perfect before a 3 or 4 day Disney cruise. (Or non Disney cruise.)

If you decide to come back, you can always add more days on to it. I wouldn't burn waste/ them. They are still totally awesome. Best trip I EVER EVER had was a 1 day Hopping Blitz and the 3 day family Disney Dream! We drove all evening (13 hrs), picked Twinkie up at the airport on a Tuesday night, parked hopped all day Wed and met the parents for our surprise Contemporary dinner- surprise! And then Thursday, we boarded the Dream, had our minds blown, on Sunday we disembarked and drove home 12 hrs. Best mini trip we ever had! That extra 1 day hopper made it super fun!
