Welcome back Sue.
Wonder if the earthquake affected Kar. Hope we hear from her soon.
8:10a in the Land of Enchantment. Current temp is 32 with a wind chill bringing it down to 28. Supposed to be very windy today. Calling for a high of 71.
I was wondering the same thing, hope all is well.
Have fun!!I haven't been on in awhile. Glad you had fun, nhpooh! Sorry its still cold, ThumperMan. Kar, I hope all is well.
It is 10:22 and a lovely 73 degrees.
I will be gone once again starting Thursday night. Going to Disney World!![]()
HOWDY DOODY, MY PEEPS!!!
Thanks for all your well wishes!! Ya, the earthquake: 7.2!! We were all SHAKIN' but not STIRRED!! It was amazing. We were actually at the ZOO and DH immediately looked at me and said "earthquake" and then everyone and I mean everyone imagineable just froze ... it lasted about 45 secs!
This earthquake we had on Sunday here in SoCal was of greater intensity than the one in Haiti and thankfully due to amazing building code regulations, no one was hurt here in SoCal, nor did any buildings collapse. Now, over the border into Mexico where the epicenter was, yes, 2 people killed and buildings collapsed.
When we got back to my DS' apt in Pacific Beach, everything was on the floor.
I live 40 minutes north of DS but still in San Diego County and there wasn't one thing amiss in our townhouse.
10:08am in San Diego. Bright sun shining. 56 degrees.![]()
