HAPPY EASTER to you, too! I need to jump in here on this weather thread. I've noticed it for a long time.:)

momrek06- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the San Diego Zoo. What a great way to spend a beautiful, sunny Easter Sunday! Also love the Washington National Zoo and the Phoenix Zoo. I'm kind of a zoo nut.:rotfl: We're grilling out tomorrow and eating outside, and sitting outside, and having an egg hunt outside. Can you tell I'm thrilled to be living in a part of the country that has such beautiful weather!!!!

Anyway, back to the weather.:upsidedow It is 12:45pm here in Tucson and it's sunny and 73, going for a high of 81 today. Tomorrow will be in the mid-eighties, as well as the rest of the week. And I'm telling you, the sun shines here almost EVERY SINGLE DAY!:cool1: I AM LOVING IT!!!!!! And there is NO HUMIDITY! I have found paradise!

Of course, it won't be long before we're seeing high 90s and low 100s, but I can live with those high temps knowing how gorgeous the fall, winter and spring will be.:cool1: Even in the middle of summer, the early mornings and late evenings are beautiful. I honestly don't know why southern Arizona has weathermen. It must be a very boring job.;)

Well gang to those of you that celebrate Easter, Happy Easter. To those of my Jewish friends Happy Passover. To my friends that celebrate neither, oh so Happy Spring. It is truly the most lovely day on Long Island. It's 3:04 at a lovely 75. Happy Sunday all!

I am back had a great time and the weather was wonderful!

It's 7:30a and 43 degrees.

Welcome back Sue.

Wonder if the earthquake affected Kar. Hope we hear from her soon.

8:10a in the Land of Enchantment. Current temp is 32 with a wind chill bringing it down to 28. Supposed to be very windy today. Calling for a high of 71.

I was wondering the same thing, hope all is well.

Me, too. I started a thread asking about Southern California Dissers, then I saw that there was already a thread about the earthquake. Hope everyone is okay.

Tucson- 81, sunny, but very windy.

It's 9:38a and 62 degrees, not a bad start! They say tomorrow we could hit 85 degrees:banana:I sure hope so, I am missing those warmer temps like down in Florida this past weekend...

8:05a. Another windy day and getting colder. Current temp is 44 with wind chill making it feel like 36.

I haven't been on in awhile. Glad you had fun, nhpooh! Sorry its still cold, ThumperMan. Kar, I hope all is well.

It is 10:22 and a lovely 73 degrees.

I will be gone once again starting Thursday night. Going to Disney World! :woohoo:

:wave2: HOWDY DOODY, MY PEEPS!!!

Thanks for all your well wishes!! Ya, the earthquake: 7.2!! We were all SHAKIN' but not STIRRED!! It was amazing. We were actually at the ZOO and DH immediately looked at me and said "earthquake" and then everyone and I mean everyone imagineable just froze ... it lasted about 45 secs!

This earthquake we had on Sunday here in SoCal was of greater intensity than the one in Haiti and thankfully due to amazing building code regulations, no one was hurt here in SoCal, nor did any buildings collapse. Now, over the border into Mexico where the epicenter was, yes, 2 people killed and buildings collapsed. :sad2:

When we got back to my DS' apt in Pacific Beach, everything was on the floor.

I live 40 minutes north of DS but still in San Diego County and there wasn't one thing amiss in our townhouse. :goodvibes

10:08am in San Diego. Bright sun shining. 56 degrees. :sunny:

4:23p. It's warmed up a little bit outside. We're up to 51 degrees. Wind chill is making it feel like 44. Still windy. We've had gusts up to 50 mph.
