I think the latest post I saw said they were working on the 3rd floor? Does that still seem to be the case? Have a standard studio booked in the middle of Aug and just wondering what the chances of it being refurbished are since all but a few are on the first floor I’m thinking not great 😂

Scaffolding Erected and New Carpets Debut at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

When visiting Disney’s Wilderness Lodge today, we noticed that the construction is primarily focused on the Copper Creek Villas.

Work Has Finished on the Cascade Cabins Exterior

While work continues on the Copper Creek Villas, it appears that things have wrapped up at the Cascade Cabins.

The last time we checked in, scaffolding covered the side of the building.

As you can see, however, the construction equipment is still on site.

At this time, Disney has not announced a completion date for the Wilderness Lodge refurbishment.

However, Work is expected to continue through September.

Where is this scaffolding? I know the article says it’s on the Copper Creek side but the photos look like the other side? Something about the angle the photos were taken from is making it hard for me pinpoint where this is.

Hello!

This is off topic from the construction chatter. I was wondering if anyone has sent a thank you note to CCV/WL staff after a stay? Unfortunately I don’t have a specific cast member name, and there’s more than one anyway. I’m fairly certain they might remember us when I describe the situation. They sprinkled some pixie dust to our family and I want to thank them for their excellent service. I’m just not sure how to address the envelope. Any suggestions are helpful!

That carpet is different than the new carpet I saw on the 7th floor when I was there.

Saw this on another site, but the slanted ceiling looks like it might be one of the upper floors. Also, I commented a while back I wasn't a fan of the rug, but the lighting on this picture looks better, not as teal.

On the fb site this was posted on, they commented that it was the 6th floor…. So jury still out on 7th floor Murphy beds??
