Aww Luv she is just adorable. Carter gets to play the protective big brother now. Glad to hear everyone is doing great. :goodvibes

Beautiful day here. Sun is brightly shining. No clouds in sight, but the wind is starting to kick up again. :headache: Very slight chance of rain/snow showers tonight.

12:40 pm and it's currently 50 degrees.

They are so cute, thanks for the pictures of your grand children Luv!!

It's 3:10p and 35 degrees, and SUNNY!

It's 10:10a and 27 degrees, was 7 when I got up this morning. Another storm headed our way tomorrow:headache:

Hang in there Sue. Just think, 2 more weeks and you'll be in beautiful Cozumel.

Slight dusting of snow on the ground this morning. Cloudy at the moment. Supposed to clear up by the afternoon, but windy yet again. It's already a little breezy now. :sad2:

8:19 am and it's currently 34 degrees, with the wind chill making it feel like 25. Which I must say is way better than when the wind chills were below zero.

GOOD SUNNY THURSDAY MORNING, DISer's!!! :sunny:

Cold this a.m. 63 degrees … which (I think my blood has thinned from my east coast days) is cold for me. :cold:

Bright sun. The weekend is suppose to be really really cold like 50's and maybe 40's in parts of CA.

11:22am

It's 8:47a and 33 degrees and guess what? It's SNOWING again:scared1:

This should get interesting.

It's 45 degrees at 7:45 AM. It's droppped 5 degrees in the past hour. It's raining - no pouring! A little north of us is colder and it's snowing! We don't get snow! It's supposed to snow in San Francisco this evening/overnight.

sheesh!

It is 10:53 AM and it is 27 degrees and snowing...has been snowing quite a while here in Ohio. Here we go again!

It's 10:59a and 34 degrees stopped snowing now pouring out. Got about 3-4 inches of snow.

Oh man, Sue, this appears to be the winter from hell for the east coast … :headache: :headache: :headache:

I sure hope all this means a wonderful fabulous summer. :thumbsup2

Bright sun right now. :goodvibes May have some showers later on. :sad2:

Going to be very very cold for the OSCARS on Sunday, cold and possibly rain as the actors take to the red carpet.

56 degrees. 8:45am.

p.s. Thumper, I will keep you posted on those GAS prices as it gets closer … but definitely plan for close to $4.00 a gal. :sad2:

Thanks Kar. :flower3:

Good thing is, Heather and I don't plan on driving around too much. The day we get there, we'll drive to the hotel. I looked and we can just walk to Gregorio's.

Sunday we'll drive back to Sea World and Hard Rock.

Monday the car will be parked for most of the day. Unless we decide to go exploring. Plan is to just relax on the beach though.

Hang in there Sue. Really, you can send the moisture our way. For the most part, it's been a dry winter. Cold, but dry. Which means we'll be in for a long, hot, dry summer. :headache:

Partly cloudy at the moment. Supposed to get windy this afternoon and last on into the weekend. Slight chances for snow over the weekend.

10:26 am and it's currently 42 degrees. No wind yet.

Holy cow it's windy! Raining dreary and 49 at 2:10pm. Talking snow for Sunday. Oy.

Thanks Kar. :flower3:

:thumbsup2 Yes, right across the street from CI! :thumbsup2 Actually, CI's location is just so awesome, you will not need your car at all while you are at CI. Just walk around all over the place, so much to see and do AND of course, the spectacular BEACH is right there as well. :goodvibes

So, it was predicted showers for today but we are having BRIGHT SUNSHINE … so I have no clue what is going on … AND I am not complaining at all. Let that SUN SHINE. Ugh on showers or rain or cold.

11:26am 65 degrees.

Thanks, guys!!

I know what you mean! I can't believe how many times we've stepped outside here and remarked on how cold it feels when it's in the 50s or 60s. If we were back in Maine, we'd be breaking out the shorts.

It's been in the 60s the past few days, and I'm actually looking forward to our summer weather, 90s and 100s!:scared1: It's taken a few years, but I think I'm acclimating to the hot weather, and I'm finding that I can't tolerate cold weather at all!

It's 8:47a and 33 degrees and guess what? It's SNOWING again:scared1:

I know how long and cold those New England winters can be, and I feel for you.:sad2: I think I dreaded the months of April and May in Maine, even more than the winter months sometimes. I hated the way it took forever for the ground to dry out, and mud season was the worst.:headache: It drove me crazy that people in other parts of the country were wearing shorts and flip flops and enjoying warm temps, while we were still wearing jackets and dealing with rain, cold and mud. Yuck!

I hope New England has one of the best summers ever this year. You guys certainly have earned it! Summers in New England can have some of the best weather anywhere in the United States! Combine that with the beautiful coastline and scenery, and there is no better place to be!

Sunday we'll drive back to Sea World and Hard Rock.

Are you planning on eating at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Diego?

A few years ago, we flew from Boston to San Francisco and drove the coastline from SF to SD. One of our lofty (:rotfl:) goals in life is to eat at as many Hard Rock Cafes as possible, so on that trip we hit the ones in SF, LA, and SD.:) There was a waitress at the HRC in SD that was the best we've had anywhere. She was a riot! My daughter and her friend (both 16/17 at the time) even had their picture taken with her. I remember her name was Sheila, so if you happen to come across her, be prepared for a crazy dinner experience!:rotfl:

8:10am- a bit cloudy and 51 degrees. Supposed to go to 69 today, but tomorrow is supposed to only hit 50! That's well below normal for here. However, next week should be back to the high 70s. Yay!

GOOD SUNNY SATURDAY MORNING Weather DISer's!! :cool1:

Well after a night of intense pouring down heavy rain and wind; we awaken to beautiful sunny skies. Now I heard the weather man say last night @11pm that it will be a rainy Saturday … not sure now what Saturday he is talking about but heck I will take this sun all day long! :sunny:

Cool for me today; 55 degrees. :cold: I know luv, I would soooo be in shorts if I was still living on the east coast with these temps in FEB … but I shuddered the thought of ever going back east during the winters months now, I would not survive …
I remember my first winter here, we would go up to DL in the evenings in December when Brett got out of work and we would be in shorts and the natives had on DOWN parkas from North Face with scarfs and mittens and Uggs on … DH & I would look at them and think "how could they possibly be cold" … now fast forward 3 years … :rolleyes1 :lmao:

10:13am

Well yup you guessed it! SNOWING again, got another 5-6 inches.

It's 12:24p and 22 degrees with snow showers:mad::mad::mad:

Yup. Like you this one of my goals as well. I collect the guitar pins. I have for years. I think I've gotten DW into collecting merchandise from there as well. We particularly like the adult drinks if you know what I mean. :rolleyes1

I'll have to try and remember Sheila's name when we go. If you ever go to the HRC in Orlando. Ask to sit in STICK CHICK 'S section. I think her name is Pam. I just remember her telling us she goes by Stick Chick, because she draws stick figures on napkins for her guests. Also, request to the wait staff that you want to hear Michael Jackson's-Thriller. The wait staff will do the dance from the video. We had so much fun there.

11:25 am and it's cloudy and windy. Current temp is 41, with the wind chill making it feel like 31. Slight chances for snow, but the way this winter has been going, I doubt we'll get any. It'll skip us and hammer all you poor folks in the North/Northeast.

Totally understand! Whenever I throw on a sweatshirt or jacket, my husband says, "You're becoming one of THEM!":rotfl: He never wears a jacket, but then again, even in Maine, he hated wearing a heavy coat. It would have to be blizzard conditions before he'd wear a coat and gloves.

:thumbsup2 We've eaten several times at the Orlando location. Big place!

I am a huge first-generation Beatles fan and I love to gawk at all the Beatles memorabilia at the HRCs. It's the first thing I search out when eating at a new location.:) I raised all three kids on Beatles music, and luckily, my husband and kids have always indulged me in my pursuit. We've managed to dine at 25 different locations across the US. We've hit HRCs from Honolulu to Key West to Boston, and many locations in between!

My younger daughter has also been a huge fan of The Who since she was very young. I remember searching at a lot of HRCs for the guitar pin of John Entwistle's bass. I know it was not an easy pin to find. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas a few years back, and DD was excited and sad at the same time, since that's the hotel where John Entwistle died. The chips at the casino there have emblems from various rock bands on one side of them. My husband happened to get one (I think it was a $25.00 chip) that had The Who on it, so he gave it to our daughter instead of using it at the tables.:rotfl: She added it to her collection of Who stuff!

And, speaking of Las Vegas...what the heck is up with the weather today?!?!? Our son lives near Vegas and flew down here last Saturday to spend the week and see his new niece. Early this morning, he and my husband left to drive back to Las Vegas. They're attending a business convention there. My husband called to tell me that they hit snow not too far outside of Phoenix!:scared1: It was somewhere along route 93. He said there were several inches of snow on the ground. Crazy weather!!

And this morning I heard pinging on the windows and looked outside to see hail bouncing off the ground. Not something you usually see in Tucson!
