We have been in the 40's for the past couple days and are predicted to stay there through the week. I say that Oklahoma was pretty much all below zero-like -25 below zero setting all time low temp records all over the place. What weird weather when MN is 47 degrees and Oklahoma is -25.

We're planning on staying in Pasadena for a couple of days. Not sure how much we'll get to see, but we'll certainly try to get around a bit. We are so excited because we have tickets for FRONT ROW seats in a section of the grandstands near the beginning of the parade route! I also purchased tickets to attend the post-parade float viewing. We'll have the chance to walk around and get a close-up view of all floats.

luv, WOW, front row seats! How awesome is that! I never really paid much attention to the Rose Bowl Parade before living in SoCal … BUT since moving here, we have watched it every single N.Y. morn and wow, it really is one amazing parade! The craftsmanship and the talent that goes into the design and making of the floats … not to mention the BEAUTY of all the roses … just breathe-taking. You can imagine, living here, there are quite a few TV specials that just weeks before the parade will take you through the making of some of the floats! AWESOME!

Tons of it. And this is dry season.

Storm season is worse... but you get used to it after awhile. The southern Caribbean is really the only part of this world that has a true dry season (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacoa, and parts of Venuzeula).

Oh, Kimberly, I had no idea! Interesting fact about the humidity and the Caribbean!

Better that it's pouring rain now, then when Heather and I go in April. Get the wet weather out of the way so we can have a lovely weekend/week while we're there.

Cloudy here. Winds are supposed to kick up. Return of the winds. At least it's been a lot warmer around here. Slight chance for rain/snow tomorrow.

12:35pm in Tucson...sunny and 68 degrees, going for a high of 78 this afternoon. Yesterday on the news they said Tucson has only had a trace amount of rain since October, barely enough to even wet the ground.

Heading out for a nice, long afternoon walk. Gotta do something to pass the time as we wait for the arrival of our granddaughter! She was due last Thursday, but she's taking her time getting here. Babies come on their own schedule, that's for sure!

Nothing yet. Of course, you know I'll have to post a pic (or two) when she finally arrives! We're also excited because we get to keep Carter with us for the couple of days that our daughter and son-in-law are at the hospital. As soon as we get the call, we'll meet them at the hospital and bring Carter home with us. After the baby is born, we'll take Carter with us to the hospital to meet his new sister and our granddaughter.

Never posted on this thread before but so excited because its going to be 75 and beautiful here today

Can't wait to get off work, got a sitter and DH and I are going somewhere for dinner and drinks that has an outside patio!!

I think its supposed to be back into the 50's next week but even that is WAY better then the 20's and 30's we've had all winter.
