It is 11:35 am and it is 20 degrees here in Northeastern Ohio. The sun is out, and that's a HUGE plus!

Oh Sue! I know what you're going through. At least you have only a little over a week now before Cozumel. That will give you the chance to warm up for a little while.

Yesterday he had a pic on his FB page of a large Philmont cup next to his laptop and open law books and he wrote … IWTGBTP … of course it took me a while to figure it out … but then all his Philmont scout buddies were posting so I figured it out … "I want to go back to Philmont" … !!!!!

11:52 here in at a whole 16 degrees. With the wind chill factor it feels like 3 degrees. The sun is shining though and when its all said in done its a beautiful day in Maine.

It's been a while since I've driven up to Cimarron. We just might have to take a drive up there this year. Maybe go camping for the weekend or something. Is your Mike going back to work there this year? Or is he going to be too busy at school?

Just as predicted, the winds are right on cue. Still a nice day out, but I'm already getting tired of all this wind.

2:10 pm and it's warmed up to a nice 61 degrees.

It's 9:54a and 18 degrees, another cold start this morning it was only 6 degrees when I got up.

They say we could hit the mid to low 30's today sure hope so, and tomorrow maybe 40!

It's been a while since I've driven up to Cimarron. We just might have to take a drive up there this year. Maybe go camping for the weekend or something. Is your Mike going back to work there this year? Or is he going to be too busy at school?

Sadly, Mike, no Cimarron anymore … he has to get a 'real' job …

He has had some great offers, law intern in London, law intern in Wash DC and a law internship at the DOT (Dept of Transportation). We think he will go with the DOT right there in RI where his law school is … his DGF, also a young law student, has just secured an internship at the RI Statehouse. So things are going well for them.
BUT my Mike can dream, dream all day and all night about his adventures in Cimarron. (Last summer was his 4th summer in Cimarron; so you can see how special he thinks of NM and returning there).
