Ok, I feel like I need to get into the 21st century and get a song for my ringtone. Right now my cell phone just sounds like a regular phone ringing.

But I can't figure out what song to put on it.

What does everyone else have for their ringtone?

Heck, if I figure this out, maybe I'll learn how to text too (is it sad that I am going to have to ask my 12 year old neighbor kid to teach me how to do this?)

I have different ringtones for different people. My friends are the Toy Story song "You've Got a Friend in Me" another friend who loves Pooh has the Winnie the Pooh theme. But I change it up too. I love using that Austin Powers theme that he did the dance number to at the beginning of the first movie. Couldn't tell you the name of it. Sometimes it is BareNakedLadies "If I had a Million Dollars." My text message ringtone is the DCL "When You Wish Upon a Star" horn blast. I can always hear that one!

The process got a little convoluted...
My DD recorded it off the Internet (a theme sample from Wikipedia) on her phone(she couldn't figure out how to record with mine),
texted the sound file to my phone,
then saved the sound file as my ringtone
All of this because, at least at the time, the "Dr. Who" ringtone wasn't available in the US (only the UK). You might be able to find some snippets of Muppets songs on the Internet and do something along the same lines.

I used to have Jack Sparrow yelling on my phone, but it's REALLY loud. For right now, I've got another voice tone, the Joker: "This town deserves a better class of criminal, and I'm gonna give it to 'em... you'll see, I'll show ya."

Had to Jokerize my phone for a bit. Just love the guy.

My best friend still gets Pintel & Ragetti from POTCMC as his special tone. Plus, I have the "Two Hornpipes" music from the POTCMC tavern scene as my voicemail alert.

Only problem with voice tones is that every time my phone rings (which is rare), I spend a few seconds looking around wondering where that strange voice is coming from, then realize "Oh! It's my phone! Duh!"

REALLY??? Someone else actually knows who the Violent Femmes are??? That's a blast back to my teen years. My best friend loved them, so we listened to them all the time at her house.

My ring tone for most calls is Lucy and Linus (from Peanuts). Love that one. Hakuna Matata plays when DD13 calls, A ring tone called Crazy Train (makes me chuckle every time!) plays when DD16 calls.
