For me hands down Toy room. Yes the bathrooms are not a delight but that toy room!:scared1: That is on my agenda for today so if I don't return send in the dogs.

Oh and on bathrooms for a minute. How the heck do you keep caulk clean? and not moldy? I am recaulking all the time and I am thinking I must have missed the caulk cleaning class at some point.

The family room.

Probably the same reason as you hate the toy room. My kids have their stuff all over the place. I hate bending over repeatedly. Not to mention, my hips start to lock up, and it is painful.

Lately, I make the kids clean the room. they hate it. Someday they will figure out it is much easier to put things away as you are done with them, then to pick everything up at once.

The kitchen :headache: Of course it's cleaned after every use, but the sweeping and mopping seems to be a never ending job here :sad1: I have a white floor, so anything and everything shows up on it and it drives me crazy!!!

Right now? Pretty much the whole house!! We are temporarily renting a small cottage (like 800 sqft) and there is just NO place to put anything!! Of the rooms in this little cottage I would HAVE to say the bathroom/laundry area (they're connected). The reason being is because so much STUFF is stored in these two rooms! Like brooms, mops, portable acordian style clothes dryers, cleaning supplies, cat litter pan, recyclable paper, coolers. . . it's a regular catch all!! So, before you can even get down to the business of actually cleaning you have to schlep all that stuff out of the way just to clean it right!!

ETA:: But, in a "real" house it would have to be the computer room because in our old house that's where all the papers that I needed to look at later were put. Not to mention books that get laid on the desk, trinkets that somehow get shoved in there. I think the underlying thought process here is I hate to clean before I can actually clean. KWIM? If I could just go in the rooms and just dust, sweep, mop or whatever that'd be good. But as it is, I have to move stuff, sort stuff, file stuff and just overall engage my brain too much before I can actually clean.

The play room. That is why I make the kids do it. If it gets out of hand, I will help them. But if they clean it up every week, they can keep on top of it.

Last week I came home from work on Friday evening, and DH had cleaned the entire house except for the upstairs bathroom. Now that's a keeper!

I missed this class too:confused3

This is why for me it's the bathrooms, they just don't seem clean before I have to recaulk.

The bathroom!!!. When I was a little girl, my job was cleaning the bathroom. My mom wanted it spotless all the time and it was up to me to keep it that way. I felt abused 'cause I was seven years old and cleaning the bathroom. :rotfl: But at the same time, my mother taught me well because I can't stand a nasty bathroom and mine has to be absolutely clean or I can't even go in it. This is one of the reasons DH and I have seperate bathrooms because he doesn't keep his as clean as I like it. And to this day I have a huge fear of public restrooms, or going to someone's home and their bathroom not being clean.

I'd have to say the kitchen mainly because of the floors. I hate cleaning my kitchen floor and honestly it doesn't get done very often. It never fails that as soon as I clean it it gets dirty again.

I don't really hate the bathrooms because they are very small. I have a great system for storage in the toy room so that's fairly easy to pick up. My office and my older son's room are disaster areas. I have so much crap in my office and do not have a good method of organizing so it all piles on my desk. And everything else in the house that doesn't have a place ends up in here somewhere. My son's room is like some sort of anomoly. We'll clean it and it doesn't really look like it and a few minutes later it's back to a sty. I honestly have no idea what to do with his room and all his "stuff".

The bedroom. Our house is so small and the bedroom seems to be a catch-all for things that have no other place. When company's coming - "just toss that stuff in the bedroom!" :rotfl: Not to mention the pile of clean laundry that hasn't learned to fold itself.

We have 3 bathrooms so I HATE cleaning them.

The kitchen, I get tired of sweeping 10 times a day(DS2 is messy).

The kids rooms. Toys all over the place and walking on them is annoying.

Not to mention the pile of clean laundry that hasn't learned to fold itself.
:lmao: Mine hasn't learned that trick yet either!!

That's another thing I hate, the laundry. :laundy: First the sorting, then the washing, not everything can go in the dryer but some in the dryer, some hanging on drying racks throughout the tiny cottage. Then, I'm supposed to fold them and put them away.
I usually don't get that far though.
I'm just thankful I even got them in the washer and have something clean to wear.

Does the garage count?

If not, probably my family room, because that's where the pets are, and it seems like I get it clean and five minutes later it's covered with fur and crumbs again.

For the person who asked about keeping grout clean, I use bleach. It gets rid of mildew and gets the grout white. I actually have it in a spray bottle half bleach/half water, and spray the shower each morning after I use it to keep it spotless.

I don't mind cleaning, and yes, I am a man. My wife says I clean a bathroom better than anyone she knows. My one pet peave is clutter and dozens of picture frames and knick-knacks all over the place makes cleaning five times as difficult. When I clean, I don't just dust around these things, I remove them from the shelves and tables and clean everything right. Sometimes I think I'd like to just chuck most of them and make it easier the next time.

The house. :headache:

:thumbsup2

I hate cleaning EVERYTHING.

My Aunt is coming to stay with me for a few days next week and I have to make sure the house is spotless. The woman does not allow a single grain of dust in her house. She is like a cleaning hurricane.

OK. back to cleaning.

My son's room.....and the kitchen floor.........that is the worst part of cleaning that I have to do. :sad2: Just those 2 things makes me want to get a housekeeper...........:rolleyes1
