What perks would YOU like to see?

I love the way DVC membership makes me feel like I own a piece of the magic. Quite frankly, it makes me feel special and however disillusioned, privileged. So it seems to me that perks would try to enhance those feelings without costing Disney a lot of money. That’s why I love the idea of having an advantage in booking ADR’s; even if it is only a one month, at 120 days. I don’t know what the statistics are, but I would bet that most DVC members book their trips further out than non members. It just seems that it would be a huge benefit to allow an advantage to ADR booking. Can you tell I am stressing about getting ADR’s for our Grand Gathering trip with 11 people?

I also love the idea of some kind of Fastpass perk. Whether it is the ability to get multiple Fastpasses, instant Fastpasses, limited instant FP's, or even the option of buying a “Golden Fastpass”. (The buying fastpass option was debated in a thread a few weeks ago, so please don’t flame me.) There are a bunch of things that they could do with the fastpass system without causing pandamonium in line. Can you imagine the incentive that would give someone who took the DVC tour recently after the unprecedented crowds the past few weeks?

I'm with everyone who wants an earlier ADR window for DVC members. When we have to compete with Free Dining at the 90 day window, it seems like Disney is overlooking the frequent visitor in favor of the person who's making the reservation BECAUSE of Free Dining. I know the ploy is to offer the FD and try to lure them into repeat vacations, but WE are repeat visitors. Even if they extended the window to 120 days, it would give us a little advantage. It would cost NOTHING...not one cent to do this.
I did, as a matter of fact, send an e-mail to DVC about this; I received two return phone calls from a lovely MS woman who told me that DVC is always looking for new perks to provide to its membership. We shall see!

Bonus time similar to workmark(the ability to book unused inventory at a discounted cash price within the 90 day window) not the 10-25% off... a lil bit more.

Honestly, I really don't care about perqs. I love the AP discount though.

All I'd really want that would be valuable to me is a party at the Adventurers Club.

I would like Annual Passes with Blackout days like the Florida Resident one to be available to DVC owners with a small discount.

We usually visit one a year for 3 weeks last week in May and first two weeks in June. Our friends visit the same time for two weeks and as my friends parents have a home in Florida they are someway able to buy the blackout passes thet cost less than our regular (not AP) tickets.

I have to totally agree with this. The Fast Passes were originally for people staying on property and was quickly changed for any park guest. This was a BIG incentive for us to stay on property but we feel ripped since they changed this. We stayed on property 4 times years ago just to get the Fast Pass advantage. We took the plunge into DVC just to go to other places in the world, not just to WDW or DL.
A super pass for DVC owners would be great! A twist? DVC goes to head of all lines during EMHs and special EMHs for DVC owners ONLY!

OOOHHH!!! I love the special idea of EMHs for DVC owners, now that is dreaming big!!! But it should be for owners and those traveling with them. I would hate to have to leave my BIL and his family behind... but hey, I am not sure I would be above doing so...

2) Discounts on tickets other than AP's

3) Being able to buy a less expensive "seasonal" pass discounted

4) Some form of fast pass perk.....

5) Merchandise dicounts other than WOD and a but more...like 20%

6) Discounted dining at all CS and TS restaurants (10% or more)

7) A dining discount card for DVC owners/members only...20%+

8) Being able to buy discounted AP's for everyone in your party, not just family.

9) Free Valet parking for DVC members/owners

10) Advance dining ressies 120-180 days out for DVC owner/members.

11) Dining ressie times set aside for DVC members only

12) Free cab rides to off site places like grocery or liqour stores (not to other theme parks, long distances)

What else???

One perk I would like too see is the ability to buy the DDP for as many days as u want up to a max equally the number of days you are staying.

1. Discount on Tickets or at least free park hopper option.
2. ADR's at 120 days.
3. The ability to customize the DDP for guest that are not staying the whole duration of the trip or the option to select the number of days(credits) per person you would like. Or the ability to select different plans for different people.
4. Advance ticket sales for special events or discounts for all nights not just a select few.
5. 3-5 Instant Fastpasses per person per day saying on points provided fastpasses are still available. Tied to room Key.

Personally, I love owning DVC and can't wait to go this summer! A few perks that won't cost Disney too much but would make owning DVC feel even more special would be perfect.

I haven't read all the posts, but I think a realistic and nice little perk would be the DVC mug good for any DVC resort for the existing calendar year. Wouldn't really help us much, but seems right for DVC members.

This would be really nice, just buy one mug for one trip when doing a split stay but I would like to see if valid for 12 mos, like the AP. I also like the 120 ADR, discounts on additional tickets not just AP, maybe 4 fp's per person per day and a discount on the DDP or at least be able to select how many days, not whole trip.

AP's or park hoppers of some sort that are good for both WDW and DL. We would like to go to DL again sometime but instead, we keep returning to DW because of the AP discount. I don't want to re-buy tix in order to go to a different coast!!!! I really think DVC members should be able to go to any US park with one tix.

I have to agree. We have premium AP's at both DLR, and WDW. If they had one AP for both, or a DVC AP that included both would be great. I think it would also be a great marketing tool to get members to go to both coasts.
Now that we know CA is getting a dedicated Disney Ship in a few years, it makes a lot of sense that more eastern, and midwest members would want to come out here. Of course we'll need a larger DVC resort in CA.
I know plenty of DLR AP holders that have never been to WDW, but would go if they had an AP there.

I would LOVE a real grocery store at DTD, with normal prices. It's not such a stretch, my local grocery carries Disney labeled produce, and cereals etc.

As for me, I would love to see ADR booking windows at 180 days (most of us book 7-11 months out anyway) and a discount on the DDP plans. Even if the discount was negligible ($5.00), that would really make me feel like Disney was acknowledging that I, as a DVC member, am appreciated.

Yes DVC members do receive free Internet access in the rooms. I've used it and it has never shown up on the bill.

They couldn't keep kids out of Pleasure Island. I can't imagine how they would keep them out of the theme parks, even if only for one night.
