I'd love to know what everyone prefers to use.

The pots and pans I use the most are a pot that has a lid with a built-in strainer, a nonstick wok that has a large fat bottom, a 8 qt cast iron enameled Dutch oven (DS15 has a bottomless pit for a stomach), cookie sheets, and a 9x13" casserole dish. My favorite tools are a chef's knife, paring knife, clip-on pot strainer, peeler, Microplane, and garlic crusher.

I love my large cast iron enameled Dutch oven. It’s my preferred pot to cook in. I use it several times a week - soups, pasta sauce, stir fry, etc. You can pretty much cook anything in it. It’s probably my favorite thing in the kitchen.

I also love my Cutco knives. I made fun of DH for buying them, but they are wonderful.

Living solo, I have this one little saucepan, one quart or maybe one and a half, that I use so often. I only get enough dishes together to run the dishwasher once a week, but that little pot I end up hand washing almost daily so it can be used again. I have been considering buying a couple more that size, just because most of my pots are much larger than I need. I also use the small, maybe eight inch, frypans a lot. I have five of those though, so I don’t have to keep washing them.

My chef's knife.

Citrus squeezer.

Handheld mesh strainer. I use it almost daily.

Salad spinner. Yes, I know, but I have to throughly 'wash' all our produce, and it makes it easier to get the lettuce/spinach/cabbage 'dry'. I even use the strainer inset to just hold other rinsed veggies that don't need to be 'dried', while I'm 'washing' them.

2-1/2 qt stockpan (great for making rice and couscous in). 4 qt pan with liftout strainer. 10.25" skillet. (All my pots and pans are ovenproof up to 500F)

The little pans that came with my countertop oven; I use them all the time to cook in that oven. Also, I have a set of muffin tins (6 muffins each) that fit in that oven; and 3 mini loaf pans.

Mini prep bowls. Makes it easier to cook if everything is ready to go.

Depends on who’s cooking
My DD is a chef - she uses every dang thing in the kitchen !!! No matter what she is cooking every time - seems to think she has a crew to clean up after her - she has her own set of knives - she always uses them
I have a favorite knives I always use and a bamboo spoon - my medium size spatula and my favorite red rubber scraper - I have copper measuring spoons I always use - and pots that belonged to my mother I always use - I clean as I go so no crew needed
DH - well I could say a lot - prefers cast iron for main cooking and always picks the smallest pot we have ( holds 2 eggs) for anything else - then realizes after it’s dirty it’s too small 🤷‍♀️
He also cooks like there is a crew ready to sweep in and clean up
Those two you would think they just made Thanksgiving for 100 people for a simple dinner which took DD less than 20 mins and DH 1 1/2 hours to cook !! Clean Up -2 hours - 1 spent scrubbing counters 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Everyone in my house has kitchen items that are OFF limits to everyone else - for the most part no one pays any attention to this and proceeds to use said items and ruin them - end result not pretty - hence why the rule of don’t touch - I try and just stay out of kitchen - so far it’s working well !!

Tongs. Use them every day.

Breville Smart Oven.

Greenpan saute pan.

Silicone spatula.

Lately? Air fryer. I use my immersion blender and my bullet a lot - smoothies for breakfast. One kid never home, other kid content to eat whatever I cook - I batch cook one day a week and then roll it over to other things that can be, for the most part, reheated. Air fryer for the win..

keurig for coffee and probably knife and cutting board. We do a few Hello Fresh meals per week and I always need to chop something.

Chef's knife and wooden cutting board
Coffee pot
Ceramic frying pan and sauce pan
Baking Sheet
Dutch Oven
Stock Pot
Grater
Cooking Utensils (spatulas / wooden spoons / tongs)

Coffee pot
my favorite spatula
My meat/veggie strainer I've had since me 1st apartment days
my favorite fry pan

I by far use my Sunbeam hot water maker the most. I love that thing! Probably secondary is the rice cooker.

I love, my simple salad spinner! I use it a lot.
Also our coffee pot gets used daily.

I have one very old non-stick frying pan that I use for just about everything. I must have ten frying pans, but this one is my go-to. It works just like the ads where a fried egg swirls around and then slides onto the plate. Everybody knows not to use metal utensils in it.
