What kind of present will you be giving yourself or your mother?

My mother has passed. With me, both DD;s are taking me for a haircut (which I asked for) and lunch. My oldest son and grandkids are bbq'ing for wife/their mom and I'm going over there for dinner. He did some things for my car today that I asked for (oil change, new turn signal bulb, etc). I learned long ago with my kids (now that they are adults) that I ask for what I want because I honestly don't want nik nak stuff and I'm not a jewelry person. My youngest 20 something son? Probably nothing. He just doesn't get into the adult present stuff but spoils his neice/nephews. When he's sick though, it's still mommmmmmyyyyyy I need some orange juice : ) I'm figuring if him and his girlfriend get married, she'll show him the way.

Me, DD(5), and ds(3) built DW a raised bed garden for her to plant vegetables. She's asked for one before, I had a little free time with the kids last week while she was out of town at a conference. And yes the kids helped.

My Mom is deceased. We sent MIL a money tree. Silly, I know, but DH's family find stuff like that amusing. I also ordered her a corsage to wear to church, which I have been doing for 25 years, & they didn't deliver it. I talked to them twice, then left a message today, so it wasn't a communication error. We feel bad that she won't have one this year. I'm really glad we didn't order the tree from the same florist. Lesson learned. We won't use that florist again.

I have no idea what DS has in mind for me. He went above & beyond for my birthday last week, so I'm not expecting much.

A Minnie Mouse visor for our mother/daughter trip in August. She saw Joy from the view where it when they were in Pandora and has been talking about it ever since.

I'm getting my darling momma a Hillberg & Birk Matilda necklace with a diamond shaped charm that has my rock on one side and I also added her birthstone charm. She could add more charms if she wants for her children and grandchildren. I picked myself one out from my husband and kids as well.

I hope she loves it! Moms is Rose Gold with an amethyst stone charm and mine is silver with a peridot stone charm.

My mom passed in 2015 but thinking of and missing her today!!! My family bought me a pair of Tieks; they are shoes and my left handed daughter bought "us" a left handed can opener!!! Can't wait to try it!

Got my mom a Bath & Body Works gift bag and two bottles of Revlon's vintage Charlie perfume (her scent of choice when I was growing up).

My wife got a birdbath from the kids. And we made her breakfast.

I didn't get anything, because I'm not a mom.

It's actually one of my favorite rides. My family got me the base and 2 figurines. When you put them on the base, they play their version of the song. <3

My dd loves Tieks shoes. They are really cute, and comfy she says.

They are pricey but truly the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned!!

My mother gave me a Mother's Day card! On the front of the card where it says "For a great girl, ready, set, relax!..." She pasted over "girl" and wrote in "woman". Inside, where the card says, "Enjoy your Mother's Day," she pasted over, "Mother's Day" and wrote in, "Spring day!" Then under the part where the card says, "You deserve it," she wrote and underlined, "You earned it!"

Then, she signed it, "With lots of hugs, Mama. The mountains worth climbing will wait."

That's right, I'm just sitting here in the valley with my family. But she's still hopeful I'll make something of myself someday!

DH sent his mom, me and our DD to a tea room for a ladies' high tea the day before Mother's Day. I liked it so much, I'm going to take my mother there when she visits next month for her Mother's Day gift. My mom and I agreed to celebrate it a month late when we could be together.
