What kind of code was this?

I called to check pricing on WL for 11/14-21 and the CM said I was in luck I had a code attached to my name for 40% off. I was able to add DDDP and tickets. I then asked if I could book a room for family and they said just to give them the code I could give it to 2 other people. It was a 3 number/letter code not the big long email number codes. I thought the short codes were general public codes but the CM said it was not. I gave it to my family member and they were able to book the same package it saved us $800-$1000 from what I was quoted online. Just wondering what type of code this is. I was very surprised that I could share it.

First of all ...congratulations on the code and saving money!! You can book up to 3 rooms under one pin as long as your travel dates cross at some point.

I sort of knew that you could book up to three rooms... But I thought I would have to book. I didn't know I could share the code..
