what is your high school/college like?

just curious cos over here in england, our schools seem a whole lot different than urs. are schools are lame. too many posers that take up way too much space. give the rest of us a chance!

I guess it really depends on the school. At my school, we have a lot of skater/goth/punk posers. People who listen to Good Charlotte and believe they are hard rockers. Yeah. Scares me just a tiny bit.

well, the high school i'm going to in september is a private, catholic, just gone co-ed school...it's like 4 boys for every girl and everyone is rich and preppy. The boys have to wear dress pants, sports coats, collared shirts, and a tie. Girls have to wear dress pants or a skirt to the knees{with tights}, collared shirts, and a blazer. All the boys wear pink and like 80% of them are absolutely gorgeous and all the girls are a lot like me{their personalities/style, etc.} I love this school...it's seriously perfect for me!

Anyway, we have to wear uniforms. I like it that way, to tell the truth. No spending an hour in a closet trying to find what to wear. I really like it at my school, because no one is so immature that they look down upon other people e.e We are all friends. ^_^ It's great.

I HATE my school. There are 2 many posers and goths. In my school all of the 7th grade boys has been suspended at least once this year and one kid in 7th grade(by the way that is my grade) that is going to DH for the summer(DH is something like jail only for kids). They are all to bad.

well...its okay. i mean it isnt the worst thing in the world. some teachers are jerks though, others are just plain awesome. the people there have the mind of five year olds and dont know how to appreciate anything but themselves. but other than that...I can deal for another 2 years.

I live in England too. My schools got a lot of nice people but some of the girls in my year are just too tarty and stuck up for their own good. Most the time school's OK though.

My highschool is pretty good. It's extremely overcrowded though... there's at least 2500 students. I have 616 in my junior class alone. yeah i know. that's alot.
and just think... there's two other highschools in my town. ours is the largest though. lol

anyway... the cliques arent really that bad. yes, there are the popular jocks/blonde-cheerleader types, and the goths, and punks, and druggies, and everything inbetween, but I'm basically friends with at least one person from every group (not counting druggies... ewww)

i like highschool, but right now, I just want it to END. only 7 real days, then finals left, then i am a SENIOR. yeah. gonna have the WORST senioritis next year...

my high school is the biggest high school in Ohio, over 3000 kids. there is pretty much a mix of everybody. and there are alot of "clicks". but its pretty much all suburban white kids, so its not very diverse at all! but we have all the basic problems like drinking and drugs and we have some of the best teachers in ohio! we also have a very high graduation rate-almost 95%. idk, its okay, im just ready for college!!!

You only have 2500 students? Wow, you're lucky! I am at one of the biggest highschools in the USA, around 4000 students. My freshman class alone is (I think) exactly 1,000. We have 4 buildings. But it is still pretty crowded. Getting down the hall is like swimming upstream. I am a freshman (WAIT! Today was my last full day of school! I can consider myself a sophmore! YAY!) and I have HORRIBLE Freshman-senioritis!

My school is very crowded as it is and getting across the school in 4 minutes is hard enough! lol how do you do that with so many people?

Henrico High School- horrible school to get an education....more like a place to just chill and fight and deal drugs.

Hermitage Tech Center-awesome!

Virginia Commonwealth University- boring, most professors I've had so far suck at teaching

my high school has 1000 kids in it... preps, goths, bandgeeks, the rebels,but there is alot of people who try to get with every guy/girl they see...in another word there alot of sexaolics(sp?). Girls who wear down to nothing and Guys who think axe really works. and there there's me. the one % of people who really don't fit in with anyone. Well, i do like my highschool.

i go to a private, catholic highschool. i have about 350 kids in my class. it's not bad... i like it. besides, i'm used to going to small schools, my graduating class in 2004 was only 5 people (and there was only one boy) and i'm not kidding!

Hint 1) Walk outside instead of through the buildings to class
Hint 2) Do. Not. Annoy. Upperclassmen.
Hint 3) We have 7 minutes to get across campus. It only takes about 5 to walk up the hill from East to West...o.0 You get lots of exercise.
Hint 4) Make your backpack as light as possible

I have gotten around for a year now (Well, one period last year. I took spanish there.) and you learn all the tips and tricks of a huge school. Plus, I am really prepared for college now!
