Not just at WDW but in "real" life as well. Having German parents we haven't branched out much but I would like to hear what California wines people love!!

Wine lovers out there??
Should add that WDW has many restaurants with fine wine lists..

My DH2B and me love Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Of course its a white wine, and it goes down smooth b/c its a soft wine and the ending taste is sort of fruity. My sister and her husband introduced it to us and ever since we have been hooked on it. :tink: pixiedust: :drinking1 :coffee:

Hard question. Right now i'm really in the mood for a nice Vioginer. But normally I'm a Cab chick. Or Shiraz. Ocassionally a nice Zin. And on rare occassions a nice crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Of course every once and awhile a nice Alsace Riesling hits the spot.

There are so many variables on choosing my wine. What the weather is like, what I'm doing, who is with me, what I'm eating, whats on tv, you get it.

I really like Sebastini Cabernet, Clos du Bois Cab, Kim Crawford Sauvignon, a Chatueune du Pape (I know I killed that spelling!), etc.

I'm in PA so it is really hard to find good wines. Disney does have some great wine lists around.

I used to prefer Australian Chardonnays, but I have gone off the strong oaky type a bit. I am really into Californian wines right now, I like Ernest Julio Gallo Collombard. I dont drink much anymore. Only a few glasses on a weekend, so I dont get to try that many different types. I have also just started to like red wine with some meals. Depends on what I am eating. My favorite wine of all is Champagne :cloud9: and I only get that at Christmas! I am really looking forward to the Food n Wine festival so I can mix and match the wines and food.

Cakebread Cellars! Yum O! But tough to get in FL for less than $90 a bottle.

I like sweet wines (LOVE ICE WINE!!). So, can you make any suggestions for sweet wines?

Wow - that's kind of like asking who's your favorite person in New York City. There are so many variables - what you're eating, what time of day, what you had last night, etc.

I like Duckhorn Merlot (big flavors), Jacob's Australian chardonnay, and Jensen California Pinot. But that's just a few!

jordan -- a california cabernet is my favorite. i only saw it once at wdw at the california grill.

I also like Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, but mostly am partial to Australian Chardonnay's. I especially love Mad Fish and Black Opal.

I don't "do" red wine! ;)

Conundrum! :thumbsup2

we are very fond of this wine as well. Until very recently we could not get it through our local wine providers, so we had to wait for it as a special treat when at WDW, goes great with seafood.

We enjoy exploring and tasting new wines every chance we get!!

I really like Australian wines - Shiraz and Merlot.

But, so far, my alltime favorite is Banfi Reserva Chianti! :thumbsup2

that's a tough question....my fav cheap wine in WDW is the Buena Vista Chardonnay......other than that I have to buy the bottle@!

oh boy what a thread!!! a wine lover here i would say i love german wine!!! especially reisling and spatlese(sp) and i have to say was at the food and wine fest last year and was introduced to ice wine oh my gosh!!!! the best wine i have ever tasted and i absolutely love it except it almost $100 a bottle where i live, but you have to make sure it is the canadian ice wine not the other ones.
