What is your favorite line to wait in?

Mine is Test Track single rider, because of "The Vent." There is a great AC vent just before the load area at the curve int he wall. It blows the most refreshing, coldest air full blast. I love my moment of standing directly underneath it.

The meet & greet for Minnie, Mickey and Goofy in Epcot has Disney cartoons playing on TVs. Good way to pass the time waiting in line.

At MK, Dumbo is nice because you can take a break inside with air conditioning while the kids play.

And, the day we waited in line to see Pooh, Tigger and Rabbit at MK wasn't bad even though it was a 45 minute wait, because the CMs in costume did a great job interacting with the guests in line. It was entertaining just to watch them.

IMHO, Disney needs to look at ways to add TVs playing cartoons or other entertainment to the queue area. It definitely makes the time waiting in line pass much quicker.

When did they add air conditioning for Dumbo?

There are quite a few I enjoy....but this year we had a FP+ for Peter Pan and I have to say I really enjoyed the new queue....really nice!

OK, so my initial reaction to reading the thread title was goosebumps....I will preface this by saying that this is not my favorite ride at WDW but it has a special place in my heart. The wait for PoC at MK is the wait-line for me. My DS, now 20, my DW now 46, and I have had the best conversations through the years. We always go during the scorching summer months so the cool air and the ambiance have left a permanent mark on my life. The way that I'm articulating this doesn't do it justice but just go with it...it's special to ME. I'm just so happy that my son still wants to go to WDW with his parents....it's what makes this all the more special. So when i think of waiting in line, PoC is it for me. :-)

Haven't seen the new queue yet but I didn't like the old one. Glad to hear that it's different and that you enjoyed it!

Whatever one has the nicest most interesting people in it.

I generally hate lines, but last February DD wanted to ride Sdmt on our last night at MK. It was late and the park was closing in 30 minutes. Sdmt had a posted 45 minute wait, so we decided to just suck it up and get in line. We happened to get behind this really cool Canadian guy and his family who, for some reason, started talking to us about astronomy. We had such a fun and interesting conversation about the stars that led to other topics and the time (and yes, it was a full 45 minutes) just flew by.
Had he not struck up a conversation, we may have stood there grumping and sighing while we waited.

I started thinking that maybe if we talk to those around us and have fun meeting new people, we might all enjoy the waiting- and our trips- more.

ToT has to be my favorite.

Least favorite, hands down is Tomorrowland Speedway. The noise and the exhaust. :crazy2:

We had a similar experience with the most delightful young man as we waited for Test Track. We didn't talk about astronomy, but about our respective homes (Canada for him), families and a little about technology.
My oldest & I still talk about what a nice young man he was--and it's been 2 years since that trip! We have met many lovely people at WDW.
Here's to lines-made-better-by-a-Canadian for everyone! :rotfl:

I love the Expedition Everest queue, though I almost never go through it. Normally single rider that one. The Tower of Terror queue is also awesome. I think both of these are so perfectly themed. Among the least favorite is Jungle Cruise...it's hot, cramped, endless switchbacks.

I actually like waiting in line at aloha isle and watch all the diff orders before I place mine!

Space Mountain or Star Tours.

But Big Thunder is also my favorite ride, so I do really enjoy that queue. They are just all so well done!

The Magical Express line (if there is one) at the airport. We've landed safely and have the whole trip ahead of us!

To be serious: Toy Story Mania is up there on my list.

Ride: Haunted Mansion. I love the tombs and interactive play areas.
General: Bag check line. Oh the anticipation!!!!!!

Oh yes! Pirates of the Caribbean, just screams childhood nostalgia to me. It's definitely the smells and the dark creepy corridors.
Brings me back to my HS Music Trip <3

For me, it's all about the ride i'm waiting for. My favorite queue is Space Mountain- the music and the "atmosphere" get me in a good mood to ride the ride!
Me too. It's also a nostalgic choice from my standby-only childhood.
