What is your best Black Friday item you purchased and price if you wish

I didn't really have anything to buy that even qualified for any Black Friday savings, but I bought a few things at Nordstrom for my kids (that remained full price everywhere) and will end up getting about $35 of rewards cards from Nordstrom to use in January. They don't usually do things like this and I do shop with them regularly so that was probably my best deal. Oh, and I guess I got some wireless airpods at Costco for about $10 cheaper than anyone else had them.

Initially all I got was my photo Christmas cards and two pairs of $5 PJ’s for my niece & nephew. However, I have now also ordered a $7 shaving gift set for DS from Target, $12 game for DH and $53 Power XL 7 qt air fryer, both also from Target. The 2 day free shipping from Target is very hard to pass up.

Ah, I also hit Michael’s and got 3 small wreaths for my indoor windows, $2.49 each, and a roll of ribbon at $3.

I think that’s about it. Until I venture out today!

Every Thanksgiving Ulta has “Beauty Busters” with free shipping. This year I got two full size Kylie Cosmetics blushes, and two full sized “It’s a 10!” hair products for $38. Can’t beat that!

The only Black Friday shopping I usually do is online. But our television is on its last legs. I checked online first and saw an LG television for 50% off at Target. We drove a mile, found it, paid for it, and were back home in 20 minutes. I couldn’t wait to get out of the store. It was electric mayhem. People’s eyes were all dilated like they were winning in Vegas. Nuts.

I bought a beautiful wooden cabinet at Wayfair at 50% off, free shipping.

I got minimal 20% discounts on Amazon Prime for niece and nephew’s gifts, but had them gift-wrapped and got my free shipping to their home so that we don’t have to travel with their gifts in tow.

I got 60% discount on personalized Christmas cards on Zazzle! Best deal of the day.

We booked a trip to Ireland through Collette Tours- 15% off plus another $150 dollars each as we have traveled with them before- saved about $1000

The electronics departments were definitely zoos yesterday. People get so sucked in. Heck, every Black Friday I have the urge to buy a TV just because I can even though we have one in every room and they all work fine.

I got myself the Instant Pot Ultra 10-in-1 for $81 from Amazon. Now people can stop telling me I need an instant pot.

Hockey tickets. Both the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils have Black Friday discounts. Got tickets for one game each team for later in the season. 25% off standard price.

3 pr genuine sapphire, ruby and emerald small hoop earrings - all 3 for $79...

We went to Bed Bath and Beyond - we got $20 off the Con-air Steam Cleaner - original price was $49.99 we got it for $29.99
Not for under the Christmas tree - DH is using it already

What did you get ?

I only bought one thing during the sales. $50 Penzey's gift card for $35. I am almost out of Salsa & Pico and Tsardust, so this works for me. LOL

Grandbabies are already taken care of (nothing I bought would have been on sale during BF, so I just caught the regular sales). DS has to wait until DH's bonus (he wants a VR set), and so do the older kids (they are all just getting gift cards this year, and know they will be probably late), since we are moving mid-December. (provided I can find a decent place, lol)

DH and I are putting off our gifts (and his 50th gift) until the move is paid for and we pay down some more on the credit cards (that we had to use to pay for MiL's funeral).

I never go out on Black Friday, but this year we were putting up the tree and two strings of lights were out. :headache: Ran over to Walmart in the afternoon to buy a Lightkeeper. Been wanting one for years but have always been skeptical about it actually working. Fixed my tree in two seconds!!:woohoo:

It wasn't on sale or anything and I think it was around $26, but it was definitely the best thing I bought on Black Friday!

Gloves. Gloves for $1 at Target. Gloves for $1.67 at Kohl's. Gloves for $1.99 at JCP. Twenty nine pairs of gloves.

if I'm lucky, I'll end up with two pairs to hold me until Black Friday 2020.

My mother insisted on taking me and my daughter to Kohl's yesterday, I went reluctantly because I normally refuse to go to any stores on Black Friday weekend. She was insistent that I had to try on these specific sweaters that she liked for me, but then wouldn't even show them to me when she realized that they weren't as on sale as they had been on Friday. She stood there and basically had an adult temper tantrum. But then my daughter spotted some costume jewelry that she loved and right next to that display was some Disney jewelry! My daughter picked out a butterfly necklace that she loved and I picked out a mickey necklace and matching earrings. I ended up paying like $12 per item after the Kohl's coupons so that was pretty awesome, and my mother was ticked off about the whole thing so that was just icing on the cake :)

I've ordered some things online but I wouldn't say I'm super excited about any of them. I'm looking forward to cyber Monday, hoping to get some more Phillips smart bulbs for the house.
