Ok so in a nut shell my day was Ok not bad but my early evening was quite interesting. It all started when my DS10 comes in to tell me this kid in the neighborhood stole his bike. So I question, interrogate, and call DH.
So I ask DH to handle this, because we have had dealings with them before, well the child. So he says OK, but I warn you, you already know work has been horrible (he spent 2 days going through security tapes trying to catch a thief and they did), I am not happy. So I offer to take care of it seeing as we don't have enough bail money

(kidding, I really am), and he declines. But I have to run to pick up dinner.
Dh goes with DS to the child's home, and I take DD3 to get the pizza. I tell DD you are coming with me Daddy has something to handle. So of course she repeats me saying Daddy is handling something.
At the pizza place, the woman who knows DH asks DD where Daddy is. Well, she responds with..(hold on to your hats folks this is a doozy)...."Daddy is handling something, he has to
strangle somebody."
She knew DS's bike was stolen, but where she got strangle from is beyond me. She knows the word, because I constantly have to tell her that if she wraps something around her neck she is going to strangle herself. Well the whole place bursts out laughing. I look behind me and 3 police officers are laughing so hard they are holding their stomachs. So I quickly explain what she is referring to. But DD keeps saying that Daddy is busy strangling somebody.
So while I was picking up pizza, my DH was apparently strangling somebody, and I guess DS was his cheerleader
In the end we got DS's bike back, called our friends over at the police station to take a friendly ride on over to the childs house. Because the 11 year old child got in my 6'4" DHs face while asking what was going on. This child did this in front of his Aunt who was there speaking with DH. There is more to it, but he threatened to have DS 'taken out' The father called apologizing and all, and understood that the police call was more of a scare tactic. The father works at the school and promised it would go no further and the threat was empty.
Our friend that did the drop over said that the child tried to get bold with him, but backed down after a while and admitted to his 'crime'.
What is with children now a days
