well, my name is Star (hi, nice to meet ya!)

and I figured with all the people that belonged to the board I'd never get anything close to it sooooooooooooooooo I just thought of the longest thing I could say with star in it and still fit on my post and there ya have it.

My real first name is Laureen and I'm Mean - MeanLaureen

A long time ago when we first joined the boards, DH Matthew and I went by the name of MZDavis (his name) and we just shared posting. When we became moderators it started confusing people because they didn't know who they were talking to - so when we changed to V-Bulletin, Matt and I got our own names. I wasn't sure about MeanLaureen but WebmasterAlex was positive it fit me perfectly..lol

My family started calling me this a long time ago. I've always had a very evil sense of humor.

I love April Fools day - although I'm finding it hard to play tricks on people because they either avoid me on that day or don't listen to a thing I say! One of my friends who manages one of my sister stores wouldn't even take a phone call from me on April Fools Day.. sheesh.. just because last year I played a joke on her telling her that her store was sold and then 6 months later it REALLY HAPPENED!!! Seriously, I had no idea! Luckily she was able to take another store in my company and stay with us.

This year my boss was with me on April Fools day - I tried to get her to help me out on a joke on my assistant manager. When I told her what I wanted to do she yelled at me, told me I was too mean and to go stand in a corner.

I just picked the first Disney cat name I could remember. And I really did have more posts, but lost them way back when during a board migration. I'm pretty sure that I have Figaro1 registered too, as during that same mess, I had to re-register in order to post and ask for my original name back. I asked if they could get rid of the Figaro1, but at that point it wasn't possible.

Mine came about when we adopted our "Two Boys" 4 years ago.
All the Moms on an adoption loop I belonged to had really cute names.
So I switched my screen name to something that stood for the fact that my husband and I were FINALLY parents after all the years of waiting and praying.
